Hello fellow gamers. Anybody know what the most time efficient way to power through 60-70? Thanks beforehand from your fellow altoholic trying to catch up
The forums is slow to catch up.
But i just got 70 on this character.
Did all quests and like 4 dungeons and reached 70 at the start of Azure span
roll a tank and crucify them dungeons with a few quests thrown in, thats how i done real fast.
Made some ok gold along the way as well.
Hit the BC dungeons as well it gives extra loot as well.
Dragon Isles´ Leveling is hard
Doing sided quests yet didn´t reach lvl 70 and this is long
getting ur guild to farm storms while ur in group last time i checked.
Run TW for an hour or an hour and a half
Wait for a time-walking week and spam dungeons as a tank or healer. If you know how to tank, you can speed things up by pulling big and pulling trash straight to the bosses, rather than stopping at every trash group.
You still have a day to run Wrath of the Lich King time-walking dungeons.
Timewalking was fast enough for me on most toons (fastest as a tank or healer), but is only available from lvl61.
Wrath TW is still active till Wednesday so step on it if you still want to level some toons myself, only have a few more to go to max the shammy I necroed a few days ago.
Timewalking is in my experience the easiest way. You get around a level each run.
Timewalking weeks are the quickest from 60-70. There’s one on right now so start queuing ^^
Turn in fish to a tuskarr
Pay like 150k to get boosted at the torghast lite in Azure Span.
Really depends if you want to do it the fastest in real time, or the least time spent, because in the latter case the best is to take advantage of fast world quests and the rested bonus.
In the former case, just do timewalking dungeons, and in the downtime, fly around and do world quests, gathering, etc.
Also if you want to do a crafting profession with that alt, the first tiem craft bonuses give you around 1,5 levels.
I used to go through each of my characters and let rested exp build up. I got all my alts I wanted to 62. Then 64, etc. If I was enjoying one more than others I would just push through and get to 70, the ones I havent been enjoying would stay at a lower level.
Thats at least how I decided what I wanted to level initally. Other than that I leveled one through dungeons/questing. One tagging elite mobs in Azure Span for higher levels that were just there killing stuff for, I’m assuming, their guildies. That was decent exp, but apparently its been nerfed now.
Interesting to see people say about timewalking dungeons being fast though, I’ll definitely be trying that out for my tank and healer classes. For DPS I’ll just power through with questing and random dungeons and BGs. I like the try and have 10-12k honor by the time I get to 70, then I can just buy the full gear. Probably also worth collecting the war crates when you can for the tokens for gear at 70 too.
My latest 70 was a warrior and I got that ready for solo shuffle in less than 20 mins of being at 70. What would be nice though is being able to log onto alts whilst waiting in queues on your main. Like the game would pop the queue on your alt, but for your main. That would be great.
Anyway, I went off on a tangent a bit, but best most reliable bet is dungeons as tank or healer, although even as DPS the queues were less than 5 minutes when I last did them.
What? I stopped doing side quests because I was nearly 69 by the time I got to Azure Span. It’s too fast if anything.
I thought I was going to be interested in these stories at the start of Dragonflight, but yet this expansion´s story still sucks
TW to 65 then just do the story quests of you can’t be arsed with more TW
