Start with weekly quests and Sparks quest. I usually get the weapon for Bloody Tokens and then pray to RNGsus for a weapon from vault. Also you can do the weekly 4 bg quest so at least you get something before you queue shuffle. And then itâs just shuffle. Most likely you drop first but then youâll push once you get some set pieces at least.
3s and rbg is way faster than shuffle, unless youâre a healer

just did this week on my alt, wasnât hard to get a group going. Definitly shorter than a single shuffle queue

Fresh 70? Do world quests, the weekly wq dragon or buy pvp greens from ah. Then do bgs and farm full set. 40men with the honor weekly event should be your friend since you will be mostly useless without gear.
What class? But generally doing weekly quests (pvp and pve) or pve will get you a decent amount of sparks for at least few pieces. Then you use the 2 trophies from the free quest. Rest have to be bought for conquests, but doing dailies and weeklies should be enough for at least third piece. Probably google all sources of it and pick what you like. If you are a melee or a decent spec for shuffle, you can farm conquests there fairly easy. If you are a healer find a good dps to do 2s instead. If you are something like warlock with no insane skills, uh, thats going to be hard. Just be sure you somehow play the honor cap for vault and do another set of weeklies on wednesday. Could be few more pieces richer and then start pvping properly.
When i started gearing my dk not too long ago i first just qued daily bg wins, did all weekly conquest related quests, daily skirm etc n by the time i had âfunctionalâ gear i did some 2s and 3s, had to keep the rating reasonably low since at higher ratings everyone is full geared n you´re going to lose to overwhelming stats but overall it was quite fast. To make a summary list.
Step 1: Que bgs intill you´re in full honor. You get the two free conquest crafting tokens that lets you craft two pieces, use them. Also pick up the weekly sparks quest n upgrade wPvP gear, it scales to 447 so its just 3 levels behind conquest.
Step 2: You´re now full honor n start farming conquest, get airdrops, daily bg wins, weekly quests. Some epic bg´s also has uhm monthly quests i believe that rewards a ton of conquest such as wintergrasp/Ashran.
Step 3: Repeat the Airdrop, daily BG´s, weekly conq quests and Sparks quests weekly, once you have functional gear to the point where you arent a wet noodle, que some 2s or 3s. Its very fast ques n MUCH faster than shuffle. After the nerf shuffle became the worst source of conquest in the entire game. Earlyon when i was in noodle gear i qued double dps 2s for fast games, win or lose within 15 secounds or so. Only works to a certain point but its very fast farming if you´re fine tanking your winrate abit.

Level the last few levels in BGs.
Then youâre fully kitted when you ding 70. You only need about 8k of honour for a complete set.
Oh, and, donât do shuffle for gearing. Without gear you will lose all the time and get nothing. Itâs a complete waste of time.
I only ever did two shuffle lobbies this season n that was pre rework when the weekly quest was just âdo 12 rounds of shuffleâ since its garanteed conquest no matter outcome. Shuffle has become terrible for obtaining conquest in terms of time investment, no idea why they felt the need to nerf it.
The overwhelming majority of the playerbase prefers shuffle over 2s n 3s so listening to the tiny loud minority n nerfing shuffle n adding artificial deflation was a terrible mistake that they hopefully dont repeat in season 3.
