Fastest way to get Pathfinder Part 2 for a returning player

I’ve returned to WoW after a year long break and decided to level another character. Before I had quit, I managed to complete BfA Pathfinder Part 1, and obviously would like to have Part 2 unlocked to have flying. I don’t want to play my level 120 character who has the quest progression. So my question is, for part 2 of the PF chain, is there an easy way to jump straight into it for an alt, or will I have to complete the entire main chain before I can go to Nazjatar and Mechagon? Is it faster to just bite the bullet and grind through part 2 on my old character?

Plot twist: my old 120 is Horde, I’m now playing Alliance.

No, you don’t have to complete everything again.

Part 2 is only about Rep and Exploration, no quest chains.

Any character with the Whistle can start Nazjatar, and from there Mechagon.
