Fastest way to level up

Hey
I bought the game yesterday and did lvl 50boost for mage and i want to level up melee class so i want to know what is best and fastest way to level up?

Also what is best 3 melee classes at pve and world content

Thanks

buy a boost

to be serious with you though i always leveled in dungeons…

and welcome to the game btw…

(as for classes im a little out of touch someone else maybe able to answer that better)

Yes, besides boost it’s dungeons. But be a tank, not a dps. Dps gets in slower

I want melee class and dont want but boost

Welcome back to the game. I enjoyed doing quests, but I am not sure that is the fastest.

wod leveling is too fast

Silverpine Forest, Hillsbrad Foothills - LvL 10-30 ~1.5 hours
WoD intro, Gorgrond, Spires of Arakk - lvl 30 -50 ~3.5 hours

Pick your favorite exp using Chromie time (wod or legion my recommendations) and enjoy. While doing story and quests you can que for dungeons.

As for the class, monk or dh. Crazy mobility and dmg.

Arms warrior is a great spec for both pvp and pve

Your leveling route should be: get level 10>silverpine>hillsbrad foothills>wod intro>gorgrond>spires of arak If you’re Horde

Replace silverpine with redridge mountains and hillsbrad with duskwood if you’re Alliance

play a class with tank/healer/dps role and spam lfg/bgs and quest in meantime. take herbalism/mining for extra world hp…

good luck

If you are new, do mostly questing and exploring the lore! Even if its slower. You can level up in ANY expansion you like!

Leveling is a bit too fast and if you only do dungeons you are missing alot.

So even if u asked for fast leveling, my advice is to take it easy and learn the game, class and lore in a slow nice way rather them rush to the end-game, so you feel more prepared for Shadowlands and far beyond!

Welcome to the world of warcraft!

You should consider reaching lvl60 on your mage first.

Leveling throughout the storyline is mandatory on your first character. It’ll take about 10h tops.

It opens the “Threads of fate” option which completes the main storyline, gives you an early access to the end-game features & let you do whatever you want so either PVP, dungeons, open world content, gathering professions, some old daily quests or more recently a feature called Torghast altho it’s slower.

The fastest way as a dps should be to take the Threads of fate option and do the open world objectives & World Quests, along with mining/herbalism (each Shadowlands node you gather gives you 3k xp iirc) and perhaps tagging in the random dungeon queue.

A healer or tank may get almost instant invites & thus focus on dungeons alone but dps don’t usually get to skip the queue.

As for the lvl 1 to 50 Wod is usually the fastest if you have flying. If not then it’s similar to Legion & BFA iirc. Same as above, questing while in a dungeon queue should be the fastest way to reach lvl50.

I’d still recommend you pick your favourite (or most interesting) expansion rather than going for the fastest but you do you. Beware tho, Outland & Norfrend are some of the oldest zones in the game & the world/quest design is very different. Not necessarily everybody’s cup of tea.

Can’t really help you here for PVE.

Raids or M+ ? And even if we were to give you the most competitive specs right now it won’t matter in a few months as 9.2 will release and change the meta.

As for World content you should give specs such as Havoc DH and Fury warrior. Others are also fairly good altho not necessarily as efficient when it comes to sustain, dps, aoe & mobility. And both have a fast paced gameplay, with Havoc being one of the easiest specs in the game & Fury has a very satisfying rotation imo.

WW monk is also very similar to these specs altho harder to play.
