I have been seeing every guide saying stormstout’s last keg being the only option for brewmasters … I am here to tell you that is just not true … and fatal touch is not only more fun … but a lot more powerful.
So I really recommend that you craft it and give it a go!
I’ll start with the obvious pros.
- It’s the most fun legendary (that could be my opinion though)
- It’s very powerful for all 3 specs in PVE, for WW it’s one of the top legendaries, for MW it will give you more DPS than your fistweaving legendary ATOTM
- Best in open world and Torghast
The real advantages
- The only legendary where you obviously feel the difference in survivability it gives you
- Touch of Death completely removes all stagger damage, when you have ToD on 1 min cooldown you start using it more to remove stagger, I found myself in castle nathria often saving my purifying brews, when i know i have a ToD opportunity coming up … making you crazy tanky
- Will give you so much DPS (more than twice of any other legendary), it makes me do the DPS of an average DPS in my pug raid (depending on boss) ! usually top DPS on adds
- You gain a huge DPS burst where it matters, killing that add that is doing a lot of damage to you or your group (which saved me from wiping a few times) as compared to sustained aoe dps from the other legendaries, you can kill that annoying add yourself when your pug isn’t switching fast enough
If it’s so great why arent people crafting it?
It’s thought that this legendary would only be the best in mythic+ trash and bad in raids, but after using it, it turned out to be the best legendary for most castle Nathria bosses, where I was actually using ToD on cooldown
-
Bosses where fatal touch is better
Huntsman Altimor, Lady Inerva, Sun King, Council, Stone Legion, Sire Denathrius -
Bosses where stormstout is better
Shriekwing, Hungering Destroyer, Sludgefist
Same thing with a lot of the mythic+ bosses
Have you tried it yourself?
