Very poggers:

  • Elune’s Chosen

Hero talents are kinda hit and miss, the affliction warlock ones are both decent, i like the warrior Mountain Thane, very thematic, it revolves around just two abilites and work well together but others, like the druid Wildstalker is complete trash, there’s nothing tying it together and all talents have separate and boring effect for feral and resto.

Others, like Trickster rogue, have one small thing, like making tricks of the trade permanent that gives it a strong identity, although it’s not a powerful effect it sets it apart and it’s rather fun running in dungeon pulling everything and never taking aggro.

I think the devs made the mistake to look at each of the 11 abilities in the tree as a stand-alone talent that has to be balanced around other talents, when in fact it’s a package and we can have many interesting and flavourful effect and they can balance the whole package with just 3-4 talents.

Well that’s easy then because I’ve only played 1: Pack Leader.

Slayer is legit random AA procs with a reused animation and a bunch of boring passive stat buffs, how in the world do you consider that very poggers lol. I find it to be the most boring of the 3 trees. Vicious agility is the only thing to like about it.

It sounds a bit silly, but I wish lightsmith was a bit more visually spectacular. I couldn’t really say, if Templar or Lightsmith is better, but I think Templar looks better visually, while Lightsmith has a really cool fantasy of empowering the group with a light sword/shield.

I hardly notice it honestly.
It’s fine. I wouldn’t want it to completely change the way I play my spec because I like how it plays.

Diabolist is easily the best hero talent visually in the game.

trying this now and man is it crazy fun. hit an 18 million demolish on a big pack just now xD.

it has been added to the very poggers tier.

Diabolist is absolute peak in both gameplay and visuals.

I throw my HoG out and get an executioner chad that bonks for a ton of damage and makes the target weaker to all damage from me and demons.

I throw my HoG out and get a big fat Pit Lord that sprays green fel magic and gives me a meteor that hits for trillions of damage.

I throw my HoG out and get a mommy of chaos who conjures about 300 missiles and turns my shadow bolt into a chaos orb that absolutely chunks.

I get 50% reduced cast time and 100% damage increase on HoG whenever big demon is ready.

Spending shards gets my big demons back faster when Tyrant is out.

Unending Resolve now heals me.

Hand of Gul’dan damage increased by 15% for every soul shard spent.

It looks great, is strong and flows like butter. Combined with the changes to the base tree like the addition of Char/Gloomhound and Doomguard summon on Doom expiry, I believe it’s easily one of the most fun specs to play in the game. It’s the best state Demonology has been in for over a decade.

Soul Harvester is alright and turns Demo into a pseudo burst spec. The shadow demon is cool, but other than that it’s all background stuff. Hellcaller is really good on Destruction. Instant cast Immolate has been requested for years.

Overall, Warlock is in a good place right now. I’m happy with it.

Oh once you get the talent that causes Colossal Might to scale your Revenge as well it turns it into a lawmower, especially if you picked the other Revenge damage increasing talents.

Not sure whatsoever why Deathstalker exists, needs to be either deleted or completely reworked from the ground up, at least Deathstalkers exist in the lore tho. 1/10 (Blizzard please fix)

Fatebound is stupid as well, why are we doing cosmic damage as a Rogue? Adds a completely passive RNG mechanic that doesn’t change how you play, non existent visually whatsoever. Feels like a gimmick hero tree that they created cause Blizz wanted to add more RNG to Outlaw in the most uninspired boring way possible and for some reason link it with Assass (???), non existent in lore, just a made up awkward hero talent that should be renamed, reworked, reloaded, reforged and just annihilated 0/10 (the person who made this should be ashamed)

Trickster is ight, visually non-existent but Nimble Flurry is the saving grace for this tree especially on Sub. 4/10 (Coup de Grace desperately needs a new animation)

Deathbringer is stupid, completely overtuned but the Scythe look cool and it plays well so ig there’s that 6/10

Rider of the Apocalypse is badass in terms of theme but it’s also pretty passive so 8/10

Diabolist should be a role model for all Hero talents. Interacts with your rotation and looks amazing 10/10

Soul Harvester gives me vibes of the SP tier set from 9.2 where you had a void entity that does AOE damage and would hover over your head, was a big fan of that fella so I’m biased (also plays pretty decently) 7/10
