I know not a lot people wander around the zones by themselves while roleplaying no more but just generally curious, for me it much be Duskwood with Inky on.
Stranglethorn Vale!
Duskwood is amazing too.
And I do enjoy Wintersprings.
Durotar
Think it would be Mulgore for me.
Lots of the OG zones are now completely abandoned compared to ten years ago, so it’s easier to RP in them.
I prefer the Barrens often, but I would also like to RP in some jungle-themed places such as Zandalar sometime.
I like a lot of zones but I’d have to say Vol’dun.
Love me a good des(s)ert.
Winterspring forever.
Twilight Highlands. I will never not love the cozy Wildhammer homes of Kirthaven and Thundermar, even when the world outside is crumbling.
It is in dire need of an update though kekw
Feralas, Winterspring, Tanaris. Some of the OG zones of Kalimdor.
Basically any wilderness zone far from the big hubs. Bonus points if there’s a cozy town or village to hole up in while you RP doing adventures.
Winterspring. Feralas. Azshara by way of Bilgewater Harbour. The Jade Forest. Dun Morogh.
Sounds like we need to arrange a Winterspring gathering.
Pre-Bilgewater and you’ve got yourself a deal.
ill bring the marshmallows
Personally, I really enjoy Boralus and Dalaran, most city settings are places I feel right at home in
Boralus, no contest
Unironically I love Desolace before it’s mini revamp for Cataclysm.
Winterspring, I love how cozy it is but Starfall village could be more populated. Darkshore (pre bfa) because I loved the quests and general feel there. And I liked Stonetalon Mountains a lot too.
For newer zones probably Val’sharah.
I like Desolace/Barrens and the contrasts between hard to live in land and lush regrowth.
I love Boralaus for RP, it feels very cityesque.
Thunder Bluff and Mulgore will always be home though. Love the feelings of the zones.
Where my friends are.
