Lets be honest in a magic world you would just get an arm back there would be no reason to stay like that. Also it simply just looks bugged.

Weird that they did not just give her prosthetic arm. The floaty thing makes it look weird and just something that was done for the sake of doing it and not that it actually works.
The sword is cool though
it was actually pretty cringe as there is a moment where she and another go on about her arm for no real story reason - its just forced in ‘I can deal without an arm blah blah’

Aw man now I see it. Why not just make the stub longer? It’s like not that hard to make it work, sure it could float in the air a bit but thats a lot of floating.

I get why they have done it like that, even if you lose arm/leg that does not mean you cant be all you, I get the sentiment, its good one, 100% agree with it,
but this one is on the writers and artist, they dropped the ball how it feels janky and half-assed

She actually gets offered exactly that but turns it down because she finds it empowering not to have an arm.
Not sure which disabled person feels the same way. Many of us feel empowered by managing to fight through it, but certainly not because we have it! As a person with epilepsy, if someone offered me an instant cure with no drawbacks, I’d take it in 6 seconds. And I don’t take solace in the fact that others have the disability as well, either.
I want the thing eradicated as quickly as possible. Nobody should suffer falling down a flight of stairs because their brain refuses to work correctly from time to time.

I didn’t get the impression that she finds it empowering. What I understood is that she’s lost the arm at a young age and has learned to do everything, including fighting, without the arm, so getting a prosthetic arm would mean having to re-learn a lot of things. Which makes perfect sense to me.
It’s more that she’s learned to live with one arm and became comfortable, not that she’s “empowered” by missing an arm.

The worst thing is that there are people who think the whole thing is cool. I don’t see any point at all that makes this look cool, rather it looks limited. A man, on the other hand, with both arms fully functional would be a better fit.
I wonder what will be next. Such as a wheelchair-driving operator like in R6? Just to give unnecessary and unreal hope or what’s the point of all this?
But yes, if you say the fact you will be booed, which I can completely live with.
for me Faerin is a “living” npc insulting token minorities
they put everything, disabled, black, half blind, scars, ugly, mixed race in the same NPC
add the fact we dont know who are her parents but she has the Lothar name

Looks like the pauldron has a rail on it, and that the shield is attached to it so she can move it forward and backwards depending on where she wants to block.
I think she looks pretty sick tbh. The shield is awesome.

She can just not use one of her hands until she gets comfortable. It really doesn’t make sense. As a point of comparison, have you ever seen a blind person see for the first time? It’s profound. They are so happy.
