I think it’d be a massive QoL improvment if we were given an option to automatically loot anything we kill without having to click the corpse itself regardless of range.
The right-clicking to loot thing is getting a bit dated imho and I for one would love to be able to skip that extra click everytime I kill something.
Make it optional ofc, let the ones who like the way it is now. With all the great QoL improvments to gameplay that’s been added to Dragonflight so far this one would be a “small” thing but a very nice one.
I hear what you’re saying, and to one extent I get it. But i also think that what makes this a good game (now that DF is out) is the story, the gameplay, the systems etc. All of that is still there even if there were a slightly more convenient way of looting that quest item or bolt of cloth.
Turning it off, you’ll return to Classic mode where you have to click on each individual items to collect them all.
There have been plenty of QOL of life improvements to this over the years. There was a time when you had to loot each individual body.
It’s a much more streamline system now. I honestly, really don’t think that going near to and clicking on one body to auto loot all the nearby corpses is that disruptive your gameplay.
Consindering how many times you still have to loot those bodies it’s something I’m often annoyed with. For many years I’ve been using Engenieering as a proffession just because of the loot-a-rang to not have to run up to the bodies and click.
I was merely pointing out that the option is to go backwards to what it used to be and to show the QOL improvements that we have already attained.
I don’t think it’s a problem tbh. Once again, removing these small details (not just this one), will eventually turn this game into an FPS like Overwatch.
