I levelled up a lvl 80 character and here is my experince sofar with this version:
Early lvling is superslow (i lvled an enha shaman, maybe other specs can lvl faster). I started gain speed at lvl 50. It took me around 14-15 hours to reach lvl 80 (slowed cos many dcs, but thats ptr stuff).
Instead of cloak, u have artifact weapon to powerup.
Instead of threads u have “Infinite” power, which comes from literally any content.
Sadly its current version not as op as mop cloak where u could farm endless stats. Current version only gives agi %, stamina, stamina % and speed (lol).
Instead of stats, armors has % stats buff. No “gems” to place abilities. Instead your artifact weapon has traits what u can use. Neck, rings and trinkets also give traits.
Artifact weapon also have an infinite trait which u can spend your “infinite” power, each rank gives 100 agi and 100 stam (diminish after 20 rank lol).
To sum it up:
With the current version of legion remix, you wont be as powerfull as you were in mop remix. You wont be able to farm normal/heroic dungeons raids and ect. Atleast thats how i feel. I heard artifact weapon and the infinite trait used to have mastery too. But they removed that (gear still has mastery %), alongside with versality stat (lol).
So i rly hope to see some changes which similar or better what was mop remix, because this current version of the legion remix is really bad and not fun at all.

If this from what i’m also hearing from so many that have tested Lemix, then this will be the biggest F…up from Blizzard. Nothing from MOP remix needed to be changed, they could have simply copied it and done the same to Legion remix, this is getting me worried it will be a job, and not the fun MOP remix was.

To give an idea of how slow it feels right now. To level from 16 - 17 took me 21 minutes and 45 seconds.
It does not feel like remix at all, maybe I’m just tired of the class-hall campaigns, but they’re not accelerated and they’re completely unchanged from the original timeline. So what is remixed about this?
4 days left of remix testing on the PTR and I do not have much hope at all for the state of remix if this is what it’ll be like.
I will say though that the bronze amounts feel okay, but everything else feels far too slow.
Even fighting NPCs unless I use my remix ability which is on a 2min cooldown I don’t feel OP at all.

You would think, that after they p*ssed off the majority of the player base by not including mage tower, that they would do something else to make people want to do remix.
I guess they just really don’t want people to play it.

Yeah, it doesn’t feel like remix at all.

This is concerning, I was hyped but christ, 14 hours to level? I’ll pass on that big time.
I loved the Pandaria remix because of how whacky things got it sounds like Legion won’t be the same at all. I’m personally sick of them trying to reinvent the wheel all the time.

Lemix feels a lot like something to ignore for the first month until Blizzard fix it.
If nobody plays, it will change. If players let themselves be driven by FOMO for a bad experience and transmogs/mounts they won’t actually use… then it’ll probably continue to be a grindfest.
The question is whether the experience is SO bad that players turn away from it, or just bad enough that they’ll push through anyway.
As to why Blizzard seem to be designing a worse iteration of a winning formula… I don’t want to guess

That’s my plan. I’ll avoid till they fix it, but in it’s current state I’d rather not waste my time.
If I wanted a long slow grind I’d stay on retail and farm legendaries with my alts instead maybe I’ll go and push the highest Delve tier, maybe I’ll play PVP and go for the elite sets.
This is supposed to switch up the slow grinds of retail. Why on earth would I swap one slow paced slog for another especially when it’s limited time anyway?

The ONLY thing I want answered about Legion Remix is whether the mounts and pets we earn will immediately be available for our Retail characters, as the items from Pandaria Remix were?
It will without a doubt be the latter option.
People will hate it, but force through it like it was the worst possible job they wanted in the world but forces them selves to get the paycheck

It is weird.
I think my current plan is ignore it for a month, or until it becomes fun, whichever is sooner. After that I’ll go chase that white+gold paladin transmog. If it isn’t fun by the end of that, then that’s my engagement over with.
I’d have gone all in on werebears and fancy cats, but since those don’t seem to be available… not much reason to care. Just cherry pick what you like most and get out if it’s not satisfying.
Maybe I’m a bit glad. I was salty that MoP classic launched when it did, because I really wanted to play that more, but I haven’t been able to justify not playing retail the last 2 weeks. If Lemix is a flop, I can swap to MoP til the season stops

It is surely.
The game mode uses retail client, anything you earn during remix is gonna use useable on other non-remix characters too.

if they don’t fix it in the next iteration its dead on arrival. Not sure why they always have to mess things up if they were good…
Fact is, if they aren’t bringing back the mage tower artefact appearances a good majority will not be bothering with this remix. And ‘that’ is where their real negative feedback is coming from. But Blizzard doesn’t want to hear that part.

All the people complaining about how long it takes to level a character clearly never spent 5-6 years getting an AD&D character to level 15, and it shows.
Difference is this is a limited time event.
Improve your bait game.
