Feedback on Survival Hunter rework

Issues with survival hunter rework: too GCD capped and overflowing resources.

Most of the GCDs go to resource free abilities or resource generating abilities. GCDs are so capped on things other than Raptor Strike that it makes the whole Mongoose Bite mechanic redunant and even detrimental at most times.

Rework tip of the spear to work off Raptor Strike instead of Kill Command, replace Mongoose Bite with Tip of the Spear gameplay.

There is too much bloat on Kill Command already, especially from the Pack Leader hero talents.

This way you actively choose to spend focus to empower your other abilities., and generate focus to maintain tip of the spear stacks rolling and getting benefit from all other already existing Kill Command effects.

With how often you cast Wildfire Bomb, the debuff needs to be an ignite mechanic.This was not a problem with old Wildfire Infusion grenade types alternating debuffs.

Adjustments to the tree layout:

  • Right side of the tree: Kill Command, Flanking Strike, bleeds, crits.

Focused on the pet and coordinated attacks, pet applying bleeds to the enemies that feed into Bloodseeker.

Move Flanking Strike here. Spreading Bleeds by cleaving Kill commands from Flanking Strike and exposed Flank, it synergizes well with Kill Command talents here

Spearhead capstone, bleeds and physical damage and critical damage

  • Central tree: Tip of the spear gameplay, focus on Raptor Strike and Butchery. Self buffs and CDR.

Replace Mongoose Bite with Tip of the Spear.

Contagious Reagents is redudant. Butchery grants Merciless Blows, allows us to cleave Raptor Strike, which already spreads Serpent Sting.

Coordinated Assault empowerment based on pet attacks is degenerate gameplay, forces macros or Weak Auras. The community has begged since the birth of this mechanic to get rid of it.

Just have it empower those abilities always.

  • Left side: Grenades and Poisons: Focus on Wildfire Bomb, Serpent Sting, Fire and Nature damage.

Replace Contagious Reagents with Volatile Explosion talent and move it to the left side. Causes your Wildfire Bomb or Explosive Shot to react violently to poisoned enemies. Perhaps Explosive Shot causes each target affected by Serpent Sting to erupt nature damage around.

Explosive Shot procs feels good.

Ruthless Marauder spreads Serpent Sting with Fury of the Eagle perhaps.
