I recently bought a one-month subscription after being away for more then 12 years. I’m levelling characters on Hardcore classic and Classic pvp servers. Even though i’m really enjoying myself redoing the old content, I wish to share some feedback to maybe improve the game.
- The hardcore server really gives a community feel of like-minded players, but its strictly pve. I used to pvp 90% of my time in vanilla, and that’s really something that I miss on Hardcore. I read about the watcher that can give the soul of iron buff and hoped it would be present on the Classic pvp servers, but he/she isn’t there.
I think that opening up the watcher on pvp realms could be a nice addition to the game. This in addition to the current setup with Hardcore realms. Its a niche, but the tech is already there so why not open this up?
- I notice that on the pvp realms almost everyone is geared to the max with the highest pvp/pve gear. Making a fresh character there now isn’t really inviting.
I think WoW could benefit a lot if they added a seasonal mechanic where everyone starts fresh and then I don’t mean something like Season of Discovery wich is different and already three years old again.
