This is the best change you ever made blizzard, keep it up!
If you revert previous stage you will loose much more horde players than alliance. They just want easy premade honor farm forever.
Faction balance?
A H ratio is 40 60.
Queue ratio was 2m vs 60m.
THIS WAS NOT FAIR!
If both faction was joining bgs equally, queues would have been 4m vs 6m.
I dont wanna be punished because of lack of pvp interest of alliance crybabies.

First time since playing TBC was finally able to easily queue into BGs and actually start the honor grind required for resilience gear. Really enjoyed being able to do some PvP within a BGs and finally start getting some marks & Honor.
Really hope this change stays really enjoyed the weekend of PvP and look forward to trying arenas!

I was considering just giving up on PvP entirely before this was announced, due to the combination of queue length and ratio of premades. Excellent change.
I had such a hard time finding time to just grind the basic pvp items like the pvp trinket since the queues were always 1hr, with this change i finally got my pvp trinket and i am very happy with the queues. I do not understand the problem with alliance since both horde and alliance have excellent racials for both pvp and pve. Now everyone has 1 min queue times which should benefit all as there will be less horde ganking for honor in the open world on low pop alliance realms.
All in all, good job blizz for doing something ! very much appreciated

May I consider this change as a fraud? I was promised the original TBC experience. Instead I’ve got a changed version of the game.
Is it possible to release the real TBC Classic servers? Without any changes? For ones who want to play the original game as it’s intended to be.

There is a such solution - motivate people to play as Alliance:
- Open free faction, race and server transfer from Horde -> Alliance for 2 weeks
- Increase honor gain for Alliance in proportion to disbalance
- Restrict to create a new Horde character on realms where Horde is more than 60%
These 3 steps will help to all those clueless-like people who “I didn’t know” or “My friends play Horde”.
If somehow nothing will change, then the only solution is previous 3 plus:
- Duplicate racial abilities. For example Draenei-Orc, Human-Undead, NE-Tauren, Gnome-BE, Dwarf-Troll (or more wise combinations) will have the same 2 abilities and you must select a one on a character creation screen.
These 4 steps will guarantee the health population, balance and live RVR.

Not a bad idea for faction imbalance but when someone want to play with friends sure they will wait until they open the restriction
??? All this months Alliance could premade and easy farm Horde. Increased honor should be for both factions.
This “Same-Faction Battlegrounds” hotfix was the best decision that they could have made and needs to stay this way.
In WoTLK the tables turn and most pvp players will be on Alliance most likely.
1h+ queues are intolerable for ANY faction.

I really hope this change remains it has made pvp fun and casual.
If I compare my honor gains to last weekend AV I did play about 36 hours and got roughly 13K honor and thise were sweaty 4 days. What comes to this testing I have played here and there in total 6-10 hours got 9K honor, have been able to play pve content when wanted and got stuff done IRL.
Based on that experience I really hope Blizzard won’t “take their time” and enable this back at some point in the future but rather let the change be as it is now and we can enjoy casual pvp and pve without planning our weekends and days over “how I could farm honor efficiently during bg weekend”
Then reroll, its that simple
Best decision ever!
Love the military training idea!
Would love to see some sort of fix for AV if possible!
1 hour queue time was unplayable for me and my friends and we were on the verge of our whole guild quitting

Stop lying, Blizzard doesn’t care.
i’m glad that people can now play BG’s without having to wait over an hour, that’s how i wish the game had always been. however, experience has shown us that the game has very rarely ever been like that so some of us chose to play and even boost a character on alliance because we didn’t want those queue times. i think this is a reasonable thing to do when you are choosing how to achieve what you want most from the game.
i’m not whining about the reduced queue times, i am genuinely pleased this has happened because i, like some others, would prefer to play horde but how is it fair that we paid real money for a service based on years of experience only to have blizzard suddenly change the playing field. surely the decent thing to do would be to allow all boosted characters the option to faction change.
my feedback:
If you want the faction balance to completely be ruined in record time with no coming back, its the perfect change. you could even offer free alliance to horde faction changes to accelerate that process. Feel bad for all the idiots who have chosen to play Alliance with all their disadvantages. It is kinda embarassing that you had to take this route like a shady 200 pop private server while there would be other ways to balance things out. It was well known that q times will get worse in TBC for Horde and still no one rerolled and a lot of people even boosted new Horde chars. So there have to be consequences which are long queue times.

you are like a spoiled 3 year old, wandering into a candy shop, wondering what all the fuss is about. you dont know anything about the pain and suffering on the alliance side that supports your lavishness

Been playing BGs(horde) almost all weekend long. The reduced queue times is a huge motivation boost, I feel like it’s worth it to queue up now unlike before this test. Facing less premades than before the test, obviously we see an influx of horde premades due to queue times making it profitable(wasn’t really realistic to queue for 1h+ as 15 people together). So if this change stays in the game, a change to premade queues seems needed.
Overall great!

I believe it dramatically improved the experience for a lot of Horde players, myself included, I personally don’t care which faction that I’m fighting in BGs, as long as its a good game.
That however, brings me to my only real complaint, which I that Horde now acts the same way alliance do when they don’t think it’s going to be fast win, concede and go afk.
It’s not everyone that does it, but having 2-5 people in every game, regardless of which team they are on, go afk and whine when everybody else doesn’t do the same, ruins the non premade experience of bgs.
So I would like for same faction BGs to continue, and hope you’ll add some way to report or punish people who seem to have forgotten WoW is not about being efficient at getting items, but about playing the game.
I remember a time when afking/botting in AV was a huge problem and people started getting banned for doing it. And I hope you’ll add a similar feature to BGs to allow the majority of people that wants to play the game, a way to report those people who actively try not to participate in order to lose faster.
My feedback:
I created an account back in original Tbc and I have played every expansion up until shadow lands. I enjoy World of warcraft and like everyone else I have my pros and cons.
Tbc - I like the talent trees of old, the spells of old, the professions and zones of old. This is a rather fun version of the game and I really am enjoying myself. The slower pace and reduced time gating or need to play daily is absolutly spot on with what I require of a game.
This same faction BG trial? Fantastic, I played alliance all these years and classic was time to re-do as horde. Their is alot and I do mean a lot that believe I should not be aloud to play what I want and enjoy it. I rolled horde so therefore I am not entitled to any opinion regarding pvp and I should of gone alliance. After all its well documented that horde out number alliance and I need to expect longer queues right?
I just want to play the game, not having to wait 60-90 minutes just to have some pvp is great. Before this weekend I just didn’t do BGs, theirs too many queueing horde side, I’m not needed or want to wait so it’s good of me to just not play right?
It’s a game, I want to enjoy it without being told go to retail, I’ve played it for years, I just want to experience this Tbc classic adventure as horde.
People going to hate but I say it was a rather enjoyable weekend, id even go as far as seeing what can be done for AV. No changes some changes whatever crowd you are, I don’t think making people queue for 90 minutes or reroll is a very justified viewpoint.
