The weapons drops could benefit from taking specialization into account. As a Beastmastery hunter I’ve received multiple staffs (which are of no use to me) and am yet to see a single gun or bow.

admittedly I largely jumped straight in and didn’t pay much attention, but got a bit lost with how the loot stuff works…end up getting a lot of bronze, and chests to open manually which feels a faff and then I need to keep going to vendors/merchants to upgrade? Just not what I’m used to with levelling, normally I just take whatever drops/rewards and equip it

Hi, this all looks great!
One thing I have noticed since we can’t leave pandaria is that there isn’t a barber shop on the continent, so we can’t customise our timerunners at all after creation.
It would make sense to add one to the Shrines if that is possible, or perhaps the Bazars!

It seems that professions, heirlooms and auction house are disabled for Timerunning, but I’m able to mail all this stuff to my Timerunning character from another retail character. I’m not sure this is intended.

I’m tired already. All the different socket types and all the gems that u want 3 of every type.
I’m not that bored, so this is defenately not something I’m going to play.

Getting the same chest for every quest started to feel quite repetitive and the need to open them everytime did begin to feel a little bit annoying especially when there wasn’t anything super interesting in it.

I feel like an “auto open” option for the chests could be nice - still I suspect that will be addressed by an addon quite quickly.

I like the gems with power effects (meta, tinkers, cogs) but I feel the basic stat gems don’t really add enough interest to offset the complexity they add with their upgrade system.

Fishing for the “right” gems to upgrade lacks any sort of wow factor to pay it all off. I don’t mind having stat gems - but I’d probably just prefer it if they had a rank system. But equally I don’t think I would miss them if they didn’t make it to live. It would also be nice if we could break unwanted gems down as they accumulate far faster than I’d ever be able to use them.

I’ve done some testing with evoker and i believe there is some work to be done.

Resurrection spell at level 59, group buff and hero/lust at level 60. We can only play devastation and it seems to be because the other specs are also locked by level. I don’t think this is intentional, but if it is… well, it sucks. I’d love to be able to heal while leveling and the three spells i mentioned need to be added to the toolkit a lot sooner.

The specs aren’t locked by level, they’re locked by quest, which you can’t do in remix. They need to put in the proper triggers into stuff.

When I managed to become a preservation evoker (auto respec for dungeon) Emerald Blossom still had both a cooldown and essence cost.

I see that the transmogs are at a heavy 5k bronze per itemset. I would expect these to be lower. The same with upgrading the items. These should also be lower as spending 53k for a final upgrade is alot of farming! People will not play this as main game with S4 raiding and m+ also on a weekly basis. Keep in mind that it is limited time, please!
The idea is a good one but make sure it is kept casual, do people actually have a chance to obtain the itmes they want.

In the 20-ish hours i played i reached lvl 61. From when you reach level 40 the leveling already feels slow. It only feels slower when you reach higher levels. I am not sure if that is the intention of the event.

The amount of Bronze i gathered is around 20k. This seems very low for the amount of Bronze needed if someone wants all the items available. If they have not been playing the expansion when it was live (the total needed sits around 1.5 million Bronze and this is excluding all the gear upgrades but when you need 53k to upgrade to 500+ ilvl i think it will be around the same amount to upgrade all the gear you collect during the end game. So lets say we need around 3 million to get through all the Gear upgrading and to get all the itmes a simpel mathequasion means people will have to invest 3000 hours. As i accumulated around 1000 bronze an hour. (quests, killing mobs some lfr raid and 2 dungeons and i did some drasgonriding through the air to farm the bronze balls in the sky.) This will mean people will have to be fareming for 4 months non stop to get everything done. This is too much time to spend on an limited time event.

Suggestions:
Keep the game fun and casual. - Look at the time to invest to get everything done.
Keep mounts at 5k maks - The worldboss mounts are precious i know this and i do not want to take away from everyone who has been farming these mounts for years on end as have i, but people who want the mount already would be spending around 5 hours just to farm one mount. Do you really like people to have a job and then spend anouther workweek just to get 1 mount of the entire collection?
Look into the slow leveling feel once a player hits 40. It really feels slow to grind out the levels. Up quest expierence or up the amount of expierence mobs are giving. ( this ties in with the cloak so that would be the better fit for the theme of this event.
Try to find a solution for the bag filling of gems and all the other scrolls and items.

I really look forward to start the event on live servers as i really enjoyed the short preview of the event! There is however the ever long feedback from players that want to get transmogs you are keeping from the people. This event would be the perfect way to give people a taste of how MOP was when it was live with all it’s glory, Including Challenge gear sets! Including no longer obtainable item sets and weapons. I know there has already been a blue post saying these will not be in the Pandaria Remix but i ask the devs and leads to reconsider. The community has been asking for these for so long, that at some point you have to listen to the community. Else the feedback we keep giving is a waste of our energy. So PLEASE reconsider this. If not with this event make some event where we can earn these rewards, and make clear that the event is there for it. Make it again limited time. Make PVP evets for PVP rewards. PVE events for PVE rewards. But please give us an option that we can finally get the items we so dearly want to add to our collections.

Overall quite impressed with how the sneak peak of the event is looking. There is some good feedback here to take back to the leads for the event!

Good luck Devs!

Have not done any of this yet I but do have a concern. With this being time limited please ensure that the time outlay to get all the mounts/pets/toys/transmogs that will only be available from this is reasonable.

ignoring the negative exp slope between 40-50, the exp requirements for 60-70 plus the 90% exp dropoff from quests at 60 means that there is no reason to not just sit in the shrine and wait for LFR queues to pop since a single boss kill gives as much exp as ~20-35 quests (so a single instance will give 60-100 quests worth).

Make the mounts from world bosses cost 200.000 bronze each.

Today i got to level 60 and i can finally change specs, so they are locked by level not by quests, but if you manage to get to level 60 you can play the class as usual.

Makes me wonder if the same thing happens on live servers with the quests simply unlocking interface elements. Anyway, i hope they fix it

I only reached about level 25. Overall it felt pretty fun.
The most negative thing for me is the UI. Having to press an extra action button then click an item to remove a gem then shift + right clicking the item searching for the correct gem and then socketing it is incredibly tiring.
Especially for stuff like the tinkers gems something like the SOD runes UI would be much better

That is what matters on retail in the end. I got an evoker to level 60 in the forbidden reach and got no spec at all. I did a few quests to unlock specs and eventually got to like 63 and still no talents because those are unlocked after you finish the zone.

I imagine there must be a good technical reason for it not being so, but I wish the stats of your Cloak of Infinite Possibilities were shown on the cloak, rather than on a buff.

I feel like there is space for a more clear in-game represenation/explanation of what you’re unlocking as you level up. Particularly in terms of questing zones and raid instances, I was never quite sure what I was going to unlock or when.

Leveling seems quite aimless once you reach level 60. All of a sudden, all of the quests and dungeons you were doing give almost no experience and there’s no indicator as to what you should be doing next. Every player simply resorts to spamming LFR for XP.

Either quests and dungeons should continue giving meaningful XP, or there should be a clear indicator of what we’re expected to do for those last ten levels.

I imagine this is something more appropriate for The War Within Alpha feedback, when that arrives, but the Evoker leveling experience needs a bit more attention.

Many very important abilities are not made available until nearly level 60. Evokers cannot dispel Magic (as Preservation), use Bloodlust, or provide a raid buff until then, where other classes earn these abilities at a much more reasonable level.

Specific to WoW Remix; changing specialisations as Evoker is currently broken, and you do not unlock the ability to do so manually until around level 60 (when you would’ve unlocked it in the Forbidden Reach, coincidentally.)

You can only switch between Devastation and Preservation by queueing for dungeons as its role, and Augmentation is unplayable until 60.

It should be clearer at what point you can upgrade items to the next level. The only way to check right now is by cumbersomely going down the upgrade levels hovering over the buttons.

It should be made clearer in-game where you earn jewelry and trinkets, as opposed to you having to already know they’re awarded from certain achievements.

Not sure if it’s intentional design, but upgrading gems from Rare to Epic, and especially Epic to Legendary, doesn’t feel all too impactful. Especially early on, it paradoxically feels like three Rare gems are more valuable than a single Epic gem. And three Epic gems are absolutely worth more than a single Legendary.

Gems are also really annoying to deal with UI-wise. Having to open and close so many windows and bind a new button to put them in and out of items. Plus, they’re a nightmare to sort through in your bags. I wish there was a purpose-built UI for gems, but I definitely appreciate that’d be a lot of work for a 2-3 month meme that may never return.

is there any chance of you changing your mind about AOTC Reins of the Kor’kron War Wolf since the argument about “prestige” doesn’t really stand since it was a reward at that time for doing normal mode Garrosh and i am pretty sure that normal back then wasn’t really much different from normal right now.

Also, regarding challenge mode original rewards should really put behind some achievement of doing the dungeons on heroic or the scenarios or being but behind a vendor too if there is no time left of reimplementing challenge mode content for remix.

I mean, this event is the perfect oportunity to reintroduce them back to the community, to atract and retain so many players that did not play back then, like myself.

i am not much of a transmog player but i would try for gold also for the class sets.

Nostalgia is such a powerfull sentiment especially regarding wow and after 12 - 14 years i believe it time that we experience that again.

i will play the mode anyways but for me it is just not the same since that announcement where you announce that you don’t feel like returning those rewards, a couple of days ago.
