I imagine there must be a good technical reason for it not being so, but I wish the stats of your Cloak of Infinite Possibilities were shown on the cloak, rather than on a buff.
I feel like there is space for a more clear in-game represenation/explanation of what you’re unlocking as you level up. Particularly in terms of questing zones and raid instances, I was never quite sure what I was going to unlock or when.
Leveling seems quite aimless once you reach level 60. All of a sudden, all of the quests and dungeons you were doing give almost no experience and there’s no indicator as to what you should be doing next. Every player simply resorts to spamming LFR for XP.
Either quests and dungeons should continue giving meaningful XP, or there should be a clear indicator of what we’re expected to do for those last ten levels.
I imagine this is something more appropriate for The War Within Alpha feedback, when that arrives, but the Evoker leveling experience needs a bit more attention.
Many very important abilities are not made available until nearly level 60. Evokers cannot dispel Magic (as Preservation), use Bloodlust, or provide a raid buff until then, where other classes earn these abilities at a much more reasonable level.
Specific to WoW Remix; changing specialisations as Evoker is currently broken, and you do not unlock the ability to do so manually until around level 60 (when you would’ve unlocked it in the Forbidden Reach, coincidentally.)
You can only switch between Devastation and Preservation by queueing for dungeons as its role, and Augmentation is unplayable until 60.
It should be clearer at what point you can upgrade items to the next level. The only way to check right now is by cumbersomely going down the upgrade levels hovering over the buttons.
It should be made clearer in-game where you earn jewelry and trinkets, as opposed to you having to already know they’re awarded from certain achievements.
Not sure if it’s intentional design, but upgrading gems from Rare to Epic, and especially Epic to Legendary, doesn’t feel all too impactful. Especially early on, it paradoxically feels like three Rare gems are more valuable than a single Epic gem. And three Epic gems are absolutely worth more than a single Legendary.
Gems are also really annoying to deal with UI-wise. Having to open and close so many windows and bind a new button to put them in and out of items. Plus, they’re a nightmare to sort through in your bags. I wish there was a purpose-built UI for gems, but I definitely appreciate that’d be a lot of work for a 2-3 month meme that may never return.
