Short feedback since things are probably very much in development. The only thing I want to highlight after talking to a bunch of other DK mains on the discord aswell as some friends that play other specs and classes that have suffered similar fates is the past due to similar design decisions the current direction when it comes to Unholy feels completely misguided and quite frankly, just bad. A sad step in the continuation of hard-capping specs. Literally no one I’ve spoken to in my 20 years of playing this game likes hard-capping AoE in this manner. Nor is it somehow healthy of the game as a whole. It feels bad to play, it’s unintuitive and really kills the overall enjoyment of combat. Please, don’t go down this path with Unholy aswell. If there are 8 targets standing in my AoE ability it makes no sense that jusr 7 of them gets hit. This is just bad design. Rethink this entire approach before it is too late. Everyone, and I mean everyone liked the game better when stuff weren’t as restrictive as they’re becoming now. For a lot of us Unholy was like one of the last few bastions of fun melee AoE gameplay. Don’t kill it for us. Please.
If this type of design is something you feel is needed to balance the game or to somehow make it better then your entire approach is flawed and you need to take a step back. The game becomes actively worse in an overall sense with changes like these. @Blizz
