Why are u complaining about weekly quests? They arnt even endless like ap was.
Pretty much all u need to do is upgrade your bis legendary in like a month and ur pretty much done with everything till the next patch

Are you aware you just contradicted yourself? 
Also, it is a bit more than that. Torghast takes a bit more than 30 minutes, and renown also takes more than 20, and then there was the Anima quest, which took quite a bit of time actually.
And then there’s the whole “First win of the day gives a bonus reward” incentivising you to do one thing of each each day. This is the type of stuff that exists now, which didn’t exist then. These are the chores.
However… compared to BfA? This is nothing. It’s still there, and anything’s worse than nothing, but it’s lessened, which is why I find his timing strange.

nice two thorgast runs on max layer for the week. takes less than 60 minutes PER WEEK.
just do 2 renown quest per week. wow so much to do oh no I have to content for around 2 hours per week oh no
It didnt for me. I was done with everything weekly (besides m0 because I will do them tomorrow) on wednesday after around 1 1/2 hour.

2 hours forced content per character is still bad. Why should it even be forced to begin with!?
So when a friend tags along in 4 months from now and asks me if we wanna do some Arena again, I’m gonna respond First you have to do these campaigns for 30 hours then do these Thorgast runs and then do that x and y, legenderies that , coventant this, but be sure to pick the fotm covenant or you wont get into push groups. No way my friend will come back to the game to play with a respond like that.

tell what takes you a long time? the weekly thorgast? where you can basically skip most trash and run to the end and finish it in around 15-20 min? or the two weekly quest where you need to do 4 daily quest that you can do while you wait for bg or dungeon queue? sounds more like a you problem
Are we playing the same game? The “chores” in SL are not at all on the level of BfA. I think people confuse the optional part of the game with the “obligatory” one. If you don’t want to do the optional part, just don’t. I was completely able to do what I wanted so far and found it quite enjoyable.

I agree. in TBC all we had to do was just join raids and call it a day but now we have so many different things that we need to invest time in like doing WQ every day. Just let us sit in Bastion and enjoy the beautiful fields Blizzard.

Amen! And it wasn’t just TBC, that was true for most cases in Vanillia, TBC, Wotlk, Cataclysm and Mop!

We were getting AP passively from dungeons and raids ,there was zero AP grind in BFA.
2 hours per week are still not “chores” thats the point. if 2 hours per week feels like alot of time for you, then I dont see how you want to push arena anyways. and I hear that weird crap about “old expansions”. Tell me in which expansion you could get max level and be on even ground when playing pvp/pve. that never existed. you couldnt do anything in classic and bc if you didn´t had the attunements. You needed rep farm in wotlk for the big enchants and also you needed to do a sh!t ton of professions for their extra bonus. in cata and mop you needed to farm out timegated reps at the beginning for the op trinkets. the only time where you did have to do anything was WoD. yeah that expansion was loved by everyone. nice
thats not true. if you wanted to acces azerite items from new raids you had to farm islands like crazy
Me too. Especially wish it was more like Legion.
Ehm… Shadowlands is WAY WAY WAY lighter on the mandatory content.
In fact; it’s one of my main concerns why I worry about Shadowlands. I WANT things to do. But as it stands; I’m done for the week. And daily stuff is done very fast.
Boring. Even in the first week of release I’m already logging out early. Not a good sign.

Not in the start, but sure was “fixed” later on in the expansion, but instead they introduced the Corruption grind aka Echos of Nyalotha that was 100x worse then AP.

Or you could wait one week to 30% catchup kicks in and get it passively
