I play on the Darkspear/Terokkar/Saurfang realm which was recently merged with the Bloodfeather/Shattered Hand/Executus/Kor’Gall/Burning Steppes realm. In addition to this, there is supposed to be cross realm when out in the world.
I play with War Mode on, and since I came to Bastion I have been completely alone with the exception of the odd horde here and there. I have yet to see a single alliance since the start of Shadowlands, and I cannot find enough people for group content cause there are no here.
Ye on launch day I did a lot of WPvP, but then today no Horde. I think they’ve increased the sharding or something, maybe for stability or whatever I dunno. I hope to see some Horde soon!
There was an MM hunter 3 shotting me and camping my corpse in one questing area and a group of 5 camping the next questing area, no Alliance to be found, it just wasn’t worth the effort.
I’m all for natural world PvP, where you just come across the enemy faction randomly or at an objective and decide to kill them for the fun/challenge of it or to assure you’re access to said objective.
But in most cases it’s either an OP class going around 2 shotting people and camping their corpses or a group effectively shutting down an area to farm the world PvP achieves or doing the weekly PvP quest.
Maybe when they do some tuning I’ll consider turning it back on, otherwise I’m content to leave it off permanently, the 30% buff and access to PvP talents just aren’t enough of a draw right now.
Next time you see that kiddo again, you make sure you camp him, then you make a group to hunt him down, then you make sure he never crosses with you. Now that is PvP.
