anybody else feel liberated when they removed details addon?
i felt so much more cognitively free without that table with numbers and breakdowns of how much everyone did and how much ability x crit you for
i just look at the game and try to kill a player and try not to die smoothbrain ;D
i just noticed two days ago that you can actually still used the addons tho lol. so i braught omni and bigdebuffs on. and left out details
Ive not done any competitive content requiring the likws of details etc recently so cant comment

Only things I look from details is to literally study something in detail after the game. I dont stare it mid game nor does it distract me. Details is a useful tool to analyse data and have better understanding of various things.
They havent done the changes on api yet to disable addons. They will add some ui elements aswell before they remove anything. I wonder what gave you the impression that addons would had been already removed, they are not. Use what you want to use and wait for further announcements when it is time.

I remember we hyped it in one of the warrior threads 3 years ago 
I have no addons. I’m a new player, been playing for 4 or 5 weeks and i honestly dont get why people want addons, the base ui does everything i need and i can customise it.
Nothing better than when low IQ people start to interpreet details. And start to praise healers and damage dealers who leeched damage meters with AoE which cannot keep anyone alive etc nor hurt the boss.
Example: Back in WoTlk, one warlock with insane skill joined the guild, on Tectus guy got spike 4 times and wasnt able to do damage because needed to move, local low IQ persons called him bad and kicked him from guild… later guy joined top tier guild and cleared all on mytic while those who kicked him barely complete HC… thats exactly what details do to game when low IQ people interpreet it.
And in PVP worst type of players are guys who are like: you casted cyclone only 3x times, he feared only 5x times… they lack intellect to understand that in PvP even one good CC in right time is enough that you not need to beat numbers. And instead they think guy who feared 10x times and keep DR entire game is good. Those type are trash of trash from bottom of trash bin.
its like people who reply with “i dont know” if something is asked eg in guild chat
if you dont know why do you bother replying in the first place lmao
you cant track your teammates/enemy cds and thats really crucial in pvp, more so in shuffle where you have no voice comms
