Since the pre-patch, I have experienced it on a regular basis that when I used Feign Death, my character stands up seconds after it was used. Obviously, I was not touching the keyboard, mouse, or had any reason for the character to stand up near immediately.
What I have noticed, is that the pets no longer feign death with you. Not sure why.
Before the pre-patch, I never had this issue. Now, it happens not all the time, but it happens more often than what I would expect from an ability which would last for a max. of 6 minutes after activating. Feign death loses its purpose this way and becomes highly unreliable.
Not sure whether this is a bug or intended, but annoying to say the least.
I know my rl friend also has this issue who plays pretty much without addons. Does anybody else experience this?
Use a macro with both feign death and play dead in it. Just remember to press it again to wake up your pets afterwards. The thing about standing up directly is something I experience when I have a dot or another periodic effect on me.
There’s this thing with feign death, and it’s not limited to the patch, that if you pivot your camera while feigned, you get up. So basically you should not even use the right mouse button to look around, just stand still.
You’ve been using a macro most likely, and not having realized it. Pets have never feigned death in the history of the game, unless you’ve used the Play dead ability.
Literally, zero macros for this ability and it has happened for me from Legion til this patch i thought it was a glyph i had but it does not seems like it.
So either i have been bugged from legion or it is something
