past is past , present is present it does take it away since i;ve been using it for 9 years on my warlock with challange set and guess what ? now everyone can ride that. the issue is you dont see anything wrong with the company making it non limited anymore and cope like a clown xD
and whats the problem with that?
its just a ugly mount, you still have yours, and the prestige of getting it.
noone is taking nothing from you. noone cares what mounts you have brotha.
I sympathize for people who’ve grinded gold for months for TCG mounts. Heck, during Cataclysm, all I did was grind gold from the AH for my Spectral Tiger, and Rooster etc, but I had this weird gut feeling they’d do something with the mounts when they discontinued them.
It is what it is at the end of the day. Pointless getting mad about. This is not going to be the last time this happens.
Thankfully it’s just a game, and you know from now on, anything rare, or prestigious is not worth getting, because it will become easier to obtain at a later date
finally someone with a brain xD
I don’t think you understand the meaning of rare mount.
People pay gold or real money for this BECAUSE it’s rare. This is how collection works… there is common and rare items and rare are more expensive!!
So giving it for free to everyone is unfair for those who already paid for it.
Can Blizzard do it? Of course it’s their game… but that is such a big disrespect for collector who paid for it as it was supposed TO STAY RARE.
You didn’t even know this mount existed you say, so they can change it to a recolor what will it change for you?
have you ever attended a class where you had to comprehend what you read? i’ve been explaining but you still ask the question to an answer. it is wrong becuase it was a limited supply item. You dont see anything wrong with it becoming a non-limited item which just speaks volumes. im fine with anyone who has a limited supply version have it since it was created with that in mind. changing it might happen but should we be okay with it? i want a spectral tiger but i’d rather not have it and regard it as something insane to have than to have it like everyone else
Because it is a Blizzard’s property. Blizzard didn’t make the TGC cards so eBay resellers profit from selling them overpriced at their expenses. It is normal for Blizzard to want to fight against this second-hand market. Every major videogame company would want to disturb such a market by reselling the product so people buy it from the original maker instead of unauthorized third-parties whose salles could be expensive but worthless for Blizzard. For Blizzard, anyone who has paid 3.5K Euros on eBay is worthless, because Blizzard has gained 0 cents for that sale.
Its not like they take away the mount, and for the record like i said in begining, i dont own it . But what they are taking is the prestige of the mount .
Exactly same issue was with MT , when there were rare rewards , then blizz removed it and said it wont come back, later it came back and there was outrage from those that did it back in time so blizz “made” new rewards for new MT, it was compromise where nobody is realy happy but its probably etter than bunch of angry folks . So like i said, best idea will be slightly change mount, we will all get new mount, and people with original one will keep its prestige
but if they give one you will get it right?
noone cares if its rare or not rare, this company changed everyone inside, and it was sold to microsoft, theres no more such thing has rare in wow, theres money or not money brotha.
for me ,elite sets and gladiator mounts should never ever be given to anyone because you need skill and dedication to get them, also you need to buy the expansion and pay subscription and play rated pvp and climb to get those.
but a tgc mount that noone cares about, and can be easy purchased on many internet sites i really dont care for their rarity.
the guy is an idiot, he doesnt comprehend basic stuff like limited supply and how it is not ok to change that. he might not agree, which is fine. " but he just cant see anything wrong with such basic concept, oh god this guy just doesnt get it xD .
sorry brotha,i just googled for “buy feldrake” mount and saw a wooping 3500 dollars for it hahahahaha.
no wonder blizzard is giving it for free ,too much wales sucking money with a blizzard product.
im actually even happier to have a 3500 dollar mount for free.
also, for me limited is a ferrari enzo, only 449 exist and period, but those mounts they say its limited but dont even have the serie number like 1/1000 or 1/100000 so its not LIMITED.
Are you still crying? Relax now…go to bed and sleep. It is over. Your drake costs literally 0 and there is nothing you can do about it now. Have an amazing night.
You can also see the bright side. You do not need to watch twitch for 4 hours and instead you can be playing your favourite game.
leave the poor boy alone,he felt like his account would earn him some bucks someday, but now its all over.
HAHAHAHA I JUST SAW SITE OVERGEAR SELLING IT FOR 4700 DOLLARS HAHAHAHA.
i mean, someone winning 5k because of blizzard, now i really know why blizzard giving it for free, they dont want the wales to suck money xDD
of course it is blizz’s property but they made a mistake to make it possible to resell. perhaps the codes should have had an expiration date when they were released as limited supply. they can do anything with existing mounts, its their fkin game . but creating more is just a dumb move because its contradictory to how those mounts came to be. they were 300k gold on my server at the beggining of wod. ppl that were late nowwant to buy them , its their choice i got mine when there were cheap as water compared to what it is now. they generated money when selling limited supply cards what happens with them next is no-one of their business, somone might burn the boxes they should not make more. re-sell is not ok but its their fault for making codes with no expiration date and since they are limited they should just leave as it is since you know what? There are just a super small droplet in the ocean and should stay that way as there were ment to be in the first place.
so you got yours for cheap has water but others cant ?
cheapskate.
saw it on ebay for 6 dollars now.
you dont even need the event to happen anymore because its allready a common mount of 6 euro.
ggthxbye.
also they are not that rare i just saw thousands of listings on internet selling that card for 6 euros.
its not limited, never was,its was expensive tough xD
a limited item has x/xxxxxx on it.
Getting them for free and limited supply are two phrases that financially and economy wise cannot coexist and even a 2 year old would know that. You sir call the others idiots but it seems you do not have a mirror in your house.
Blizzard wants to make money and they will not ask Ballver from cryville IF they let them do it or not. Enjoy your 5 dollars mount please.
the thing is he is saying its a LIMITED mount when theres thousands selling on internet and the card/mount doesnt even have a serie number so
not limited whatsoever.
limited is:
i make 50 mounts,1/50 mount,2/50 mount,3/50 mount etc…untill the 50/50 mount.
got it now?
my father makes colection of replica cars in scale, there are some f1 models that are worth 2k euro and more, and they have a little book in the box saying the serial number of that car,and only 18900 people have that car, thats limited my friend.
You are wrong. They never promised not to reprint the cards, when in fact the card’s decks were reprinted during the TGC lifespan. There was an entire deck made of a mix of reprinted cards from previous sets including many loot cards. There are no more decks anymore because they dropped their contract with the company that produces TGC but it that didn’t happen who won’t be talking about TGC cards sky-dropping on eBay because decks would have continued to produce, including decks with old loot items.
For all purposes, they could have “reprinted” those items on other media like Heartstone decks once TGC production ended and there is no valid argument for being limited items. It never was meant to be limited.
