no , its you who cant comprehand what i said, i dont care how much someone gives for the mount free or expensive 3.5k. the way someone obtains does not matter. what matters is when there was a limited amount of boxes with such content remain unchanged. now they add more drakes which were a limited number. also blizzard is not making money directly from releasing this mount as twitch drop, it’s an indirect way by baiting people to watch twitch, they could add any other mount that is from a non limited source.
also the mount will be rare again after this event is over.whoever got it got it,whoever dont got it,need pay 6 euro.
but dont tell its limited because it doesnt have a serial number.
Please open the dictionary and go to the letter A and search advertisement. Try to understand what it is and how it works and they we can talk again about blizzard NOT making money from it.
Correct. I’ll be getting the mount via a twitch drop and it will be the same drake that you have, with the same prestige and value.
why?? its real life loot—why should they get anything in-game for RL money? i thought those people are against pay2win…;p
now their pay2win cool mount will be free2win.
thx blizzard
what he wants is to be the last cookie in the pot.
re-releasing boxes and giving mount as a promotion for free are two different things, there is a reason why the boxes are expensive, they dont make them anymore and its pretty obvious they wont release them again. so yeah they released a finite amount of boxes making it limited to a certain number. if they decided to do so and release again a finite amount of real boxes where ppl pay for them then no problem its still gonna add a tiny amount to the number of owners of such content. what happens to cards after whether its a re-seller or redeem i dont care. twitch is just an overkill since its gonna flood the collections with such a rare thing.
Huh? There are a limited amount of codes that can be redeemed from the cards, you said “It’s not limited… it was expensive though”. Well yeah, it’s expensive because it’s limited lol, I’m a bit confused about what you mean
How exactly is mount p2w? If it was to increase character power then i would be strictly against , but mount isnt p2w in my eyes .
Well we can complain. They change the loot from the 500 mount’s achievement twice because people were not happy with it.
I really hope they will change this one too. It’s such a disrespect for every feldrake’s owner…
I don’t have much hope, but if blizzard still care for something else then money, maybe they will.
well at least you still have the fact you got it “the legit way”.
and you can tell your granddaughter of your feats and tell:
I THE GREAT BALLVER ONCE THE ONLY OWNER OF A TGC MOUNT THAT WAS WORTH THOUSANDS OF EUROS GOT IT WITH SUCH A PRESTIGE AND HONOR,THE GREAT BALLVER IS NOT LIKE THE COMMON RABBLE THAT GOT IT ON TWITCH STREAM
NO,
ME THE GREAT BALLVER GOT THIS MOUNT IN THE HERO WAY!!!
noone will ever take that from you ^^
thing is the point im making is, you dont see anything wrong with them re-releasing limited content available again. There is a ton of stuff I would want but only if it remains within a limited supply, otherwise whats the point of owning stuff that i used only for its rarity lol. you basically say yes to blizz devaluing anything you do now promotion or in-game related since they might give away certain stuff for free in the future.
dont stress brotha ,its still limited supply, only people that see twitch on those days will get one.
in couple month mount will be unnobtainable again
The original owners all unsubscribed years and years ago. No harm in giving it out again.
nice point of view tbh…didnt think about that …
not only it was rare, expensive but also a true fossil of achievement!
well if that is the way you would show off rare stuff you would get from not any other source then getting it for free then i agree. i just used it on my challange mode warlock since it looked cool and it felt nice to ride something you dont see everyday. giving anything for free which already existed before is just bad for the collectors of anything
Maybe you should stop owning things “for the sake of rarity” then idk.
I’ve got a piece xylitol gum I chewed on for a bit. I can give it to you if you want.
I promise nobody else has one, or if they do, they’re in very rare company indeed.
Re-releasing boxes means the original maker didn’t produce the item in limited quantities. It became a limited quantity later when the maker stopped production and so the only one who has profited with them as limited quantities are eBay resellers, so Blizzard has no obligation to those eBay resellers’ clients.
It is like a comic or a book that a publisher makes in non-limited quantities. Eventually, that book could stop being reprinted and in case there is enough demand it could skyrocket in the second-hand market. Yet the editorial never produced the book in a limited quantity, they produced and printed the book with no restriction until they stopped doing, profiting from a book sold at a retail price during the time they kept reprinted. The only ones who profit from that book in a limited quantity are resellers. The editorial has no obligation to those clients who buy the book from resellers to not release the book in a new edition that could be expensive, cheaper, or even free, but in any case, it will harm the second-hand market.
So, no, TGC cards were not produced in a limited quantity. Just like a discontinued book was not necessarily produced in a limited quantity. Something adverted like for example “Only 5000 copies will be produced” will be limited, but a normal production that becomes discontinued is not.
Discontinued and Limited are not the same things even if in both cases it is not longer in production.
It requires no effort to get this mount except borrowing your parents credit card.
you are the type of guy who copes when getting screwed by a company, i dont care about the company screwing my mount i got 9 years ago but I care when I see people not seeing anything wrong with it, just the fact people realize its wrong its enough. its a pity its gonna be non-rare but the fact some ppl are happy about it baffles me.
