Felguard still using a model created in 2004

Both the Felguard and Wrathguard models where updated in Legion.
The real issue is that they never bothered to fix the Wrathguard holding only 1 weapon.
We still have several demons who use TBC models.

look for ‘’ Felguard Sentry’’ NPC in Wowhead look at the screenshot it’s from 2007. the model was created in 2004, what exactly did they update in legion? they just recolored it.

I don’t think you know what recolour means. The new model introduced in Legion has both a different skeleton and different textures.
I got a recolor AND upscale of the same model 2 expansions ago! take that hunters and your 200 new looks!
I especially like how they gave hunters the choice to respec pets from Tenacity to Ferocity or Cunning, why not also give them the choice to dps with a turtle? they might get bored otherwise …
Nice strawman argument.
I agree that warlocks need new looks for pets, but the fact remains that the warlock’s Felguard model was updated in Legion.
What we need is ability to enslave demons. So you pick what you want and thats it.
You want your felhunter to look like a jailer from legion, go for it, you want your imp to look like a mother, go for it… you want your saccubuss to look like a eredar, go for it.
But on the other hand, that would be cool… so we aren’t allowed that
