Just copy-pasting my still not answered post from the old forums.
As my previous post got deleted with all the beta posts I am recreating this to shed light into this issue and hopefully get an answer from Blizzard. In addition, the US forums have recently been vocal about this and I am providing a link to the most popular post : https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/20766166581?page=1
So to provide context on this issue. First of all, it started at the 8.0.1 pre-patch PTR and went live. So, the FEMALE Void Elves no longer twirl/spin when they jump AT ALL. I have personally tried this over a thousand times and my main is a void elf and the past month of BFA she hasn’t spun once. Also, as many people have reported the overall jumping animation seems to be broken. There is also a bug that prevents the model from doing the landing animation after a certain condition is met(which I cant really spot but I think it has to do with stunlocks…)
As far as the MALE Void Elves are concerned they still spin/twirl but the chance of doing so seems DRASTICALLY reduced. So let’s say that BELFS twirl 1 in 3/4 (thats what my BELF does) MALE VELFS spin 1 in 13. Of course, this is from my personal testing but it is undeniable that there’s something wrong with the chance.
This leads me and many other people to believe that this is a bug. However, blizzard hasn’t even acknowledged this issue or responded in any shape or form. Void elves like blizzard stated are Blood Elves that took an interest in the void and were exiled because of that. That doesnt mean that we forgot how to spin -.-.
Please Blizzard free the twirl!!!
Edit: I am providing the new link for the US post in which it states that it’s fixed in PTR. Let’s hope it comes to live!
