It really feels like there is no passion from devs to make Feral an interesting option. A lot of cool things have been taken away in the past few expansions and very little has been added. It doesn’t get the same attention as Retribution gets. Or when Death Knights whinge a little on Forums you rush to placate their suggestions.

The tree is filled with many poor connections and nodes. Many talents you don’t even really play in many different instances of content. Ive personally tried to use many different ones for Delves or Dungeons to see if would actually make it more fun or do anything different buts just a total let-down in every attempt going away from the ‘most used talents’ just isnt better or more fun

There are way too many instances where you’re just out of energy and if you look at Rogue, that hardly ever happens. They have CDR on so many abilities so they never feel like they’re waiting for energy to come back. Feral ONLY has Tiger’s Fury to regain energy and it has a FLAT cooldown. Nothing else really improves energy regen by a margin you can actually count on or feel. Tireless Energy, Savage Fury, does very little to help here. Not noticeable same way as it is for Rogue.

Feral Talent Tree:

  • Remove Thrash from Feral standard rotation. Its just another maintenance debuff/buff like Savage Roar and this was removed also.

  • Incorporate Lunar Inspiration into Double-Clawed Rake. This will see this talent have more uses.

  • Move Predatory Swiftness from a Gatekeeper-talent when its opposite side, Dreadful Bleeding, is a damage output talent. Make it baseline into Druid as a whole.

  • Add Omen of Clarity + Moment of Clarity into 1 talent, it sees no use otherwise.

  • Ditch Thrashing Claws or make it worth taking.

  • Improve Wild Slashes dramatically.

  • 3 talents for Berserk? 5 for Incarnation? Please. Do something here, no other class nor spec has to use 5 points to improve one ability that we as a spec don’t really care about. Either do something drastically or remove it entirely. I think you devs can design something around Feral only having Tiger’s Fury or Feral Frenzy as actual cooldowns – Why did you remove CDR from Heart of the Lion? Many other classes and specs, like Mage, DK and Rogue have CDR. Why did you land on a flat 60sec reduction?

  • Move Adaptive Swarm into Wildstalker – add something else for Druid of the Claw. Or remove it entirely, its not a fun minigame you have to click.

  • Give Feral Frenzy a much needed improvement. Right now its just a flat debuff/dot you really don’t want to click with your other cooldowns bcos Berserk is so short and you also have to use Convoke. Its not fun or engaging gameplay to click it. Often you actually lose Combo Points bcos you overcap. How is that fun?

  • Tireless Energy, Savage Fury and Frantic Momentum are all haste talents but even when all are picked you don’t really feel like it changes anything.

  • Make Carnivorous Instinct give a Energy pr sec additive. Or make it do ANYTHING so its a worthwhile pick.

  • Saber Jaws will be a dead talent all of Season 3 bcos you decided it cannot be procced by Druid of the Claw’s Ravage 4pc. But somehow Coil to the Spring can? Why? No reasoning except ‘we don’t want it to be forced talent’. Then give us something that can compete with the other choices.

  • Give Raging Fury another gimmick other than just +5secs of Tiger’s Fury – atleast give it the same +10% bleed effect as the other node choice.

  • Why are Veinripper and Circle of Life and Death two ends of the same scale? Pointless to have one that reduces and another which prolongs duration.

  • Make 1minute Convoke only cast Feral abilities, no heals, no wraths, no balance things.

  • Reduce cooldown of Incarnation a 1minute cooldown via Ashamane’s Guidance. Do anything than what you’re currently thinking. Its a poor choice vs Convoke in every instance.
