Ferals what comps you all been playing recently ?
While feral is a pleasure to play in RSS where you can mindlessly bleed and rarely get kicked on clones, it feels rough to find something working for 3s. Even though it feels like feral easily is in the top 3 meele currently power wise
Jungle: Feels like its really rough to get control of the game currently since we seem to be more squishy, while playing purely hit and run often isnt enough to get through cds.
Aug/Feral: Love the damage but the games usually end with opponents going oom or one of us dying in a cc chain. Maybe playing purely single target build would be better ? Also caster matchups feel really rough
And else wasnt able to test much other comps as I usually default to joining a hunter instead of waiting in lfg
If you want an approximate tierlist for Feral comps, it would be something like
S: Feral + Aug Evoker (brutal cleave pve dmg, big peels, high mobility, high CC)
A: Feral + SP (high cc,good spread dmg, big peels, somewhat tanky), Feral + Fire Mage (with the mage probly stacking mastery or whatever that noskill 70% of ur total dmg being Ignite build is) - brutal cleave dmg, high mobility, high cc, low effort, Feral + Hunter (jungle) - high sustain damage on 1 target, deadly cc chains
B to B+: Feral + Ele Shaman (good cleave spread dmg, strong utlity and defensive cc,strong disruption), Feral + Affli warlock (more brainless pve dmg xD), Feral + Destro (harder version of Feral Affli), Feral + DK (strong cleave dmg, somewhat deadly cc chains)
C: Feral + Warrior (Kitty cleave) (zugzug), any other Feral comp
To enjoy life as a feral now you have to play with someone that tanks interrupts for you and itâs most of the time the kill target in the arena like fire mage or arcane and a SP
You for sure need a healer that has life saver cds like a holy pala
Jungle is a bit rough Atm you are on the run most of the time and even a good hunter canât 1vs3 most of the time like a good fire mage can do
Iâm currently 2.3 i 3v3 as FMP (feral, fire, hpala) but I havenât played much last week.
You basically gotta know when to play ST, AoE, Tanky no clone. So itâs a lot on my plate while my mage friend blasts insane damage as mastery fire build. We found out vs comps that MIGHT train me itâs better I go a very tanky aoe build and we just win automatically.
Currently gearing up a second feral before we push glad. Itâs for sure gonna be way harder than our glad as FMP in Shadowlands. Even though, FMP now is A LOT better than an expansion ago.
Iâd say FMP and Feral/Aug/Hpala has been the scariest so far. You literally donât even see jungle at least from my expeirence.
Feral/Ele might be good. It felt good last season but now mages just feel stronger. I guess Feral/SP/X is doable too.
I have to say hpala for sacs/bops feels mandatory. I donât enjoy playing with holy priest that much. Maybe disc works now that itâs buffed though.
Been able to play some destro feral and have to say it quite enjoyable to not be the focus of interrupts anymore. Makes it a lot easier to stop a enemy go with clones.
But Fire mage feral sounds like a upgraded version of that comp so lets hope some mage will have the mercy to que up

Bonus point: anyone can explain to me (as someone whos 90% abusing the aeo build), the value of moonfire outside of cheap range combo points? Does it calculate as a bleed and increases the dmg ?
Its just a ranged cp builder, I donât recommend using it vs 2 melees anyway, and if you play with a mage I suggest playing ST talents almost every game as you want to do almost always a 1v3 in the goes
