Feral Druid once again is falling behind in single target.
One of the problems with feral is its lack of burst aoe which has always been a core issue in raid. This wasn’t as big as a problem before since feral was one of the strongest pure single target specs in the game, this expansion feral is consistently the worst burst aoe spec in the game again, and now its falling behind in pure single target as well. It’s not a good feeling to talent all single target, because its not worth talenting aoe talents in raid, then doing less boss damage than specs like ret paladin that do insane singletarget and aoe damage together. Either they fix the burst aoe problem perhaps by making primal wrath baseline as they did with boomkins and starfall, or purely buff our single target damage because it is sorely lacking. Nexus princess Kyveza should historically be a super good feral fight but instead we lower bottom in the dps rankings. Every single expansion the classes around feral get buffed significantly but feral is ignored. For example warlocks were doing comparable damage to ferals but have since received major buffs and are now way above feral. it’s time to give feral the attention it deserves.

Feral has been at best mediocre and most of the time below average for as long as I remember and I dont think it will change anytime soon… it lost its niche slowly over time while some other specs got something new every xpac.

Definitely true
Even tho having low burst AOE is fine, we need to compensate somewhere else
And rn it’s not the case.
Feral is weak tuning wise.
It’s kinda sad because I like the gameplay of feral right now.
Also another “problem” is that feral isnt popular and the community is no vocal.
For example BM is bad for one patch and it get buff right after.
