Feral Druid talents dumbness

I know this were like that for YEARS, I know there would be bunch of … let’s call them ‘personalities’ who insanely LOVE this, but I am not an old WOWer and looking at this I want only beat myself with hugest facepalms ever!

What I am talking about? The druid talent tree and especially if you are Feral cat.

1st of all why when switching to cat I sit with 0 energy?
Why it wasn’t done that cat’s have hidden energy pool while they are not in cat form, which has it’s own and independent regen rate? (just like their mana pool while they are in cat or bear forms)
And there is no need need in cheese (with Furor talent and wolf helmet) but absolutely dumb and non-fluid shapeshifting anymore! Also no any need in dumb talent Natural Shapeshifter, which were only made for exact this shapeshifting!

Why Natural Weapons talent in the MAGE DPS three? And it isn’t at the 1st line - it at the 2nd line and has a continue in 3rd line!
So Natural Weapons which buffs Phys damage ONLY + Omen of Clarity which works ONLY from melee attacks were put to the range magical tree.
Who were made this? Ain’t he genius? Of course he isn’t!

So to be more or less competitive DPS (but I would never compete to warriors or rogues tbf) I should invest 5 points to the HEALER tree and 11 points to the MAGE DPS tree.

So at phase 2 I SHOULD be opt out:
Either of Leader of the Pack or from dumb shapeshifting and clearcasting.

Genius?

Why Leader of the Pack? Because since they made a Wind Totem bots from us and we are in high demand in melee parties now, so they would ASK us to have this talent too (to fulfil our bots role) and nobody would care how we will feel us themselves.

At the same time, why “my” tree is full of strange stuff:

Thick Hide - why it is here? Put this to Balance.
Feral Charge - why it is not the regular Ability? Same as Faerie Fire
etc

I’m looking at the Rogues and their Mutilate: no need to hit from back, or waiting for crits, or long CD, or investing 20+ talent points, or waiting for Full Moon - just 1 strong hit and +2 combo points. 2nd hit and you are ready to use finisher.
While I should invest 17 talents and be waiting for crit, which is just impossible to have in big (or even medium) amounts at this stage.

Spec into leader of the pack, put faerie fire on the boss, use wild strikes, and enjoy the boost, kid.

All classes have this to a more or less extent. Out of all the things SoD needs changing, making 0/51/0(or similar variation) trees is about as low as you can get on the totem pole of priorities.

Yes some specs come together all the way at 60, this is/was classic, just see what spec does best for the current content phase and roll with it.

Because this is 2005 classic, Ele, enh, Feral, Oomkin, Retri & Prot where just Nonexistent, You were healer on these, just period.

There is no QoL here and it’s all dumb, A lot of the runes help tho.

Just pick wild strikes runes as feral and everyone will love and boost you.
