I play with sounds, no music. I find it very useful for lots of reasons.

Same here.

Don’t bother with the first guy. Just look at his post history, it’s full of “imagine doing this” comments and overall just being a douchebag to everyone for no reason.

pretty sure there is a lot of sounds that are important to hear. but i like to raid and do content with warmode on so…
By the way the music in wow is amazing

most people? sound is a very good way to read a situation in game

most boss abilities & player cooldowns and abilities have distinct sound clips to them that if you play with the sound on you don’t need a crutch like DBM flashing big red disco lights on your screen because you just connect the sound of a boss ability with movement or the sound of a spell reflect being toggled with stop magic damage

but i don’t really like the music in wow ingame, warcrafts music is great, don’t get me wrong, but its too grand and too epic to really fit as background music, it fits cinematics and movies not so much doing world quests or grinding M+ or whatever

Ive done some testing… and it looks like animation of teeths is bit delayed and does the sound again … I press F.Bite - > immediately hit target (see damage numbers) -> sound effect -> teeth animation -> again sound effect… i really dont know whats the cause.

Who plays without sounds on? You need to hear some effects.

The standard is music off (put your own music on) + WoW sounds.

I do, its seriously important sometimes even raid bosses talk sometimes before they use an ability.

@OP I have not noticed this on my feral.

Most enemies abilities are announced with voice acting or some sort of effects ,so i find it better to listen game instead of stressing eyes by looking into stupid bars.

Honestly, greatest thing during the Jaina encounter. The “Enemy ship on the starboard / port side” came roughly 3 seconds before the weak aura registered where the ship was.

Could’ve obviously written a weak aura that reads that NPCs yell and tells me, but why bother? Ingame sounds are incredibly useful.

No effects that I ever have needed to hear.

Lol, imagine browsing somones history. What creep :flushed:

I thought DBM was fot that

It is, but as i main healer and my eyes are on bars i have alot more to look after than you do therefore that thing helps alot. Your call if you have it off, for sure i will never turn it off
