What will be fun in world pvp? But still i want to have acess to m+ and raid. I want feral mainly, but bfa was decline dance at higher m+ for feral and survival. Thx for opinions!
So far playing feral in hc and m0 dungeons I have been able to stay competitive in dps with most other classes, it’s still obvious that there is an imbalance with some classes still doing too much dps for low effort but it’s possible to make feral work at the moment but I won’t lie you’re gonna sweat. I cannot say how it will progress over higher keys and gear scaling. For PvP I think the class is balanced but if you wanna be broken like the top broken specs you will be forced to go night fae, there’s no other choice or you’ll just be balanced or average, the class still has an amazing kit regardless of damage. Havoc still does mad dps in mythic dungeons but is low effort, can’t comment on PvP. I don’t know how survival is currently, every hunter is enjoying the moment playing MM.
Edit: You ask for wpvp, well feral has stealth and an easier time escaping if things go wrong.
I don’t know about the others, but I find Feral massive fun in wpvp.

Just out of curiosity did you go with the night faes?
I’m not quite at that point yet, need to do rest of campaign still. I really liked the Night Fae convoke spirits and soulshape when I was questing there. The Kyrian 15% damage also looks good tho. But convoke spirits was so much fun lol.
Ok, would be interested to hear thoughts on wpvp capability of feral at 60 without going faes, because I didn’t go faes and feel the spec is average without it.

What is this survival spec you speak of? Blizzard removed it from hunters in Legion so there is only BM and MM spec available for hunters.

I’m necro cause surely faes gonna get nerfed and I can take any class as feral apart from healers cause no one dies then. And my gears not even that great atm I haven’t had much spare time to get online
Convoke can be nice in WPVP but is pretty limited as it’s channelled, therefore easy to shut down with an interrupt. I’m not so far into it tho so I’m thinking of switching covenant for something a little more sustainable and reliable.
Demon Hunter is the most fun class to play, the animations, transmogs, lore its just amazing but thats just my opinion.
Also, DH is absolute trash at the moment, no mattet if u play wpvp/arena/duels/bg if you wanna win you need to HARD sweat, even then there is a big chance you are going to lose. Blizz punished us big time, dmg wise and especially defensively 
Meanwhile Feral is absolute god, with night fae ability they will delete you in seconds, if somehow you survive and fight back, their kiting, healing and running the **** away is amazing.
I believe you should wait until class changes and see if blizzard is going to buff back dh and then decide 
Go SV and respec to MM in m+
