Feral pvp tips thank you

Is there any way we can controll the fight with melees?

Trying to kite seems pointless due to bleeds that doesnt do … dmg
Trying to get close ends up with me losing 50% of my HP in a stun, and then the last 50% is gone withing 10 seconds…

How are ferals suppose to be played??
I cant beat any1 in a 1v1 cause my HP is just GONE without me even noticing it…and i’ve even had rogues who OUTHEALED my dmg…i litterally gave up and it pissed me off cause i didnt know what i could have done differently… (just examples)

tips???

Youtube doesnt work cause thats just BS and works for top geared/rated ppl…and thats not my world, but i didnt think it would be this s(h)it really

Im not a good feral or anything, but anything wearing plate is not gonna be easy.
I do think you need some new azerite traits, jungle fury is really nice.
I don’t know what talents you usually run. But if you want a bit more burst you should try feral frenzy. Your bleeds are not super good, but keep them up for added pressure and try to do damage with bite.
Pool your energy> Ferocious bite> Tiger’s fury> build cp> Ferocious bite> Feral frenzy (big dmg, gives you 5 cp and full energy)> Ferocious bite
If you need to lock them down use bash, or replace one of the bites with maim.
And use the pvp talent that reduces your targets max hp by 10% when you bite.

As for dying in a stun, yeah thats like a feral trademark. Try to abuse thorns as often as you can to punish them for hitting you, and if they have stuns available try to pre bear form and/or instincts.

Someone please correct me if Im wrong, but this seems to work for me. At least in world pvp.

And check out Bean, he’s the feral god. =)

This.

Beans video explaining his opening, Azer trait choices and talents etc. But it’s the opening that’s the most important part. At least for me it was.

No Sheri you ain’t wrong.

Rake from stealth for the stun → pop tiger fury → pop CD’s (if required) → 1 combo pt Rip and then hit feral frenzy → BITE.

Unless they’ve trinketed (which they shouldn’t) you now have a rake & and a fully boosted 5pt rip up. If you’ve hit Berserkering you also have a small window to shred spam, rake again and another bite before Tigers Fury wears off.

Then bounce: travel form, wild charge, boost… whatever to get some distance. Get out of range and throw up your hots and let your boosted bleed do it’s thing. Between bash/typhoon/roots and travel form you should have 0 problems keeping distance while you let bleeds do some damage.

Your strength is in your mobility, but if you open up strong and put the pressure on straight away you’ll force them to think defensively instead of hulksmash and if they do hulksmash (Vendetta, Avatar, Wings etc) and you absolutely cannot get away then get those hots up, get the thorns up and let the bear loose.

Then back into cat. Refresh your Rake with Tigers Fury up ofc Bite or FF and Bite if possible - bounce.

Classes like DK’s and Fury Warriors you’ll need to kite around as best you can as described above but some people you can just stick to once you get your opening sorted. Seriously - feral has some high front end damage played right and the bleeds do hurt.

Traits, very important also, moreso than iLvls. If you can get 3 x Jungle Fury on you do it.

Best way to play feral at the moment is spec heal and play feral affinity.

This thread helped me improve my pvp skills by a mile. Here is what I have learned by combining this thread with my existing knowledge…

Blood Talons is recommended everywhere, but can be distracting and takes focus away from gameplay during pvp. Feral Frenzy is a great alternative here, which brings me much better results. Using bear form to defend during enemy CDs is also easier to pull off thanks to Feral Frenzy.

Regarding bear form… Talenting into Guardian Affinity used to seem like such a bad choice when Restoration Affinity was available and healed slightly more. But now that I have better control over my bear form, Guardian Affinity is much more useful when played correctly.

The Thorns pvp talent is ESSENTIAL! Now that our bleeds aren’t our primary focus, having this ability is SO important against melee opponents. Since kiting works best in harmony with bleed focus, kiting is less useful and now instead we should rely on Thorns.
