9.1 reality : ridiculous and out of this world unhealable damage and MS from same old same old busted classes (hunter rogue monk dh) ----------> Feral so OP though guys S tier gonna dominate

Feral is in a great spot right now, it has great single target pressure with outstanding survivability, especially if you’re necro!
True the only thing they’re missing now is symbiosis

the truth is, if someone is a really good feral then he can go nf for convoke with the new legendary and do way more damage and still survive because hes actually good at the spec, but most feral go with the safe option which is necro, and basically never die

whats weird about it? in this season the hardest thing to do is survive, if you go nf you give up necro defensives for more damage, which makes you more squishy, it means you need to actually trade def cds normally, and kite, if you are not good at basic mechanics like these then you can go necro do less damage (but still decent) and just get that 35-40k shield+heal.
it is broken, no doubt, but it still wont change the difference between nf and necro, nf=more offensive necro=more defensive, ofc a “not good” feral will go for necro, damage will be still decent, and dont have to worry about getting deleted.
dont get me wrong, convoke is a horrible designed ability, and will never be balanced, i dont support it
its similar to the dh situation, some dh went necro for more defensive, since dh lacks def but doing decent damage, and majority of dhs play the hunt for more burst damage but being squishy.
in this 2 spec i actually see some kind of logic and decent design by blizzard, all spec should be like this, there should be atleast 2 covenant which viable, but changes your playstyle, you wanna play defensive? play x, you wanna play more offensive and lose some def? play y. (even tho if its up to me i’d rather delete the whole covenant thing)

Feral is super good right now but its by no stretch of the imagination the absolute best and overpowered class that some people make it out to be.
Its in a very good spot tho and feral players pretty much has nothing to complain about performance-wise. But yes… other classes/specs are way more busted for sure…
