Carefully selected awc “evidence” while ignoring statistics…
I will never understand how you can call yourself having eyes and brain with those statements… But, whatever suits you and your personal agenda when you apparently dont even play it!
But I have to say, this is kinda hilarious so thank you!
That rogue, paladin and priest just happends to outsmart, outrank, outskill and totally decimate you and the ferals in the discussion. They are trying to convince some kids that 1 + 1 is not 11 at this point.
If the highest feral would be hard stuck 1800 while whaazz is 2.8+ on his rogue that would be an indication feral is not doing so well. But that is not the case
Well if that is the criteria for in need of changes, then PvP is perfectly balanced and was always perfectly balanced.
There was never a spec that bad in the game that you cant get 18xx with 2 r1 mates.
I didnt read the 300 comments above completely so I cant tell who outsmarted who - but not sure if you should use that word and then go on with an example typical for a 10 year old…
Such a long unnecessary discussion if a hybrid should be able to do what a hybrid has done the last 18 years, crazy.
Every other hybrid has decent to good offhealing, only Feral is looking down massively both in Regrowth and in Frenzied Regen.
Shadow is massively overloaded with its heals and team utility, forum is asleep.
Mage and Rogue are the tankiest specs in the Game, forum is half asleep.
But Feral asking for more than 20k (20! The spell is not even worth having on your bar anymore, as a Spec that was always somewhat similiar to Rogue about resetting fights and recovering behind pillars!) Regrowths and a pitiful 10% Frenzied Regen thats after a couple minutes into Dampening almost not even worth pressing anymore either is the real hot stuff.
Heck, just speccing Boomkin and you have twice the stronger Regrowth and Frenzied Regen for some reason as the ranged druid spec with a lot faster clones yet Blizzard refuses to buff Feral again.
Good lineup of semi high rated people having massive bias towards other classes for sure.
The shadow priest is just going to stand there and tank the damage while the feral is already ran away to the next planet. One is built to tank damage and the other to escape it entirely.
Rogue and mage are not hybrids so why you ended up bringing them up is beyond me even though i agree with sub and outlaw being tanky (assa flops like a fish under the knife).
The arguement that feral is straight up unplayable that some people in this thread wants to make it sound is baffling. Feral is a top performer. It is not THE best but it is way far from the worst.
No one in their right mind should be saying that Feral isnt atleast good right now, but if that is the prime concern then trade off some damage to put back in the healing. If I want to play a pure DPS I would have chosen to do so.
Feral should be a hybrid that helps its team survive while having decent sustain pressure alongside a really strong cooldown, right now its just a damage bot that fishes for Feral Frenzies by cloning literally everything available to them.
I dont really think they would have huge defensive, healing and damage if they just upped their Regrowth and Frenzied Regeneration. Might be the case in cleave situations but on ST outside of Wild Attunement spam?
Also I feel like most single target pressure from the Cat could be fixxed by reworking Wild Attunement, which feels horrible to play and for some reason made it live without a CD.
Feral just need a buff to its selfheals / regen to recover. Shaman for burrow and rogue got cloak talent- basicly bubble. Almost every class got more and more mobility while feral stayed the same and took some small needs ( powershift) . Dmg wise feral is okay-ish. Would of course a bit better when we can Tank some dmg
Edit: and the cyclone talent removed- and clone castable is n cat form. Fishing for frenzy via clone is.toxic gameplay
While a 1min debuff? Boomkin can cast in form and have 120% more armor. Your idea would make feral just way worse :). In woltk we got ps- cyclone as extra def. Later in cata( correct me here if I’m wrong- long time ago) it has become a 20sec cd for clone , but still instant. So we don’t have to leave form. It would still have some counterplay - many specs/ classes can purge/ dispel procs
Meh! 1min instant and otherwise castable in form and you have my vote. The problem with feral and cyclone ( and the cyclone PvP talent) is : you spend an extra gcd! And only feral has this ( and the PvP talent try’s to fix that an creates new problems) . Imagine a mage has to „drop“ his fire/ frost spells and have to reactivate them for /after a sheep.
Boomkin don’t have to drop their form, and they have way more benefits via increased armor. And they can even cast their main spells outside of boomkin form.
I feel like Cyclone still being at 6 seconds is the trade off for that GCD. If they ever make it lower than 6s it should definitely be castable in Cat again.
Also I dont feel like its fair to compare ourselves to the chicken wings in that regard. They dont have access to the best stun in the game in form of Maim.
I wish they would make Druids closer to the og expansions again. I want to see them shapeshift around and not be stuck in one form.
Also I just like the whole going out of form thing to see all the cool transmogs.
And the trade off is only paid for feral? Makes no sense at all. Also boomkin is caster and it’s way easier to clone for them. As meele to cast when everyone is straight in your face is twice as hard.
Moonkin’s Rootbeam is one minute cooldown though and also costs them Mass Entanglement or casting Roots.
Also when we go for a Clone our main damage source, our bleeds, are still ticking strong. I never felt the GCD going back into cat ever as an issue tbh.
I’d be super happy if they adress Wild Attunement and the healing debacle and I would immediately do a lot more PvP again.
