At the moment I am 22lvl druid, specced in feral.
Simple question - are bears viable to tank dungeons while leveling? I know that prot warriors are kings, and prot pala is a meme tank, but what about bears? How is their threat/survivability?
Or it’s just better go cat and dps in dungeons?
Bear is more than fine in dungeons, all the way up to , and including 60. You got a big health bar so your healer will love that, and you can get some nice aoe threat. You don’t have as many damage avoiding mechanics as a war, but your hp buffer should more than make up for it. Imho, with a minimal dps loss , you can actually spec into being a good tank as druid, and still be almost top as a cat.
TLDR: go for it , it’s lovely
If you love gnomeregan then feral is for you. Because you will see this dungeon a lot. Way more often than raids.

Casts are nice and so on, but their dps is terrible. Hate to say it … But Bears? Excellent tanks.
Cat DPS isn’t bad at all. It is the AoE that sucks. Single target I’d say it is really good. In pre-bis gear, single target, no world buffs, I think druid can be top DPS.
Bear is imo best dungeon tank on all levels. You dont need to spec into it, go full cat and maximize crit. Will serve you well
