I haven’t played the game in a while, 6-7 years at least and i’d like to check out the latest expansion with my old characters and see if i like it before renewing. Right now i can only login with some alts i barely played and my low lvl bank account.
Is there such a thing is a few days free trial for returning players?

They sometimes do longer trials offered for everyone, usually announced at their blogs and promo email.
You could ask in a ticket for a short personal day off or so explaining you want to see some fluffs. It will be up to the GM’s.
You can get shadowlands free and a level 50 boost if you buy a month’s subscription.
Now this is not available to players who have second accounts like me.
