As the title says here are few things I would like to see as soon as possible in SoD.
-
Fix enemy nameplate distance to at least 41 yards. 20 yards just feels awkward and it seems shorter nameplate range favors melee players, especially in pvp.
-
Fix max camera distance. I like to have bigger range with camera and SoD camera doesn’t go nearly as far as wotlk classic camera. Sometimes I like to keep the camera as far as possible.
-
Dual spec, sooner than later. I know this is controversial but next phase at lvl 40 I will want to change specs often. Only doing it at cities is unnecessary.
-
Target dummies for each phase. It would be great at least for me to check which specs and runes do most dps. It’s just fun for me. I love to practice rotation and cd usage on target dummies.
That’s about it for now. I really don’t think these changes would hurt the game, authentic feeling is important to me. Loving SoD by the way nice job blizz boys and girls!

You can improve camera distance with a macro, I can’t link it right now but you can find it in google, it works.
Hmm, maybe this one?
/console CameraDistanceMaxZoomFactor 3.34
Can’t try it yet, I’ll confirm later.

Great findings! I am really looking forward for these. Especially the name plate range is just odd.

I guess nameplate distance is intended anyhow 41y distance would be better. I don’t see this change effecting the game negatively.
Camera was not far enough for me BUT as Sodgrandma wrote earlier there is a control command for fix. I found this addon called MaxCam which works perfectly for me.
I’m sure dual spec is coming to Sod, wanna bet on that one buddy?
I think training dummies were introduced to wow in wotlk? Correct me if I’m wrong.
I just want them to:
-fix bots
-fix bg queues
-add more content since this is not enough for one phase
I dont even care if they dont balance the classes right now; they should just do these and I would be fine with the rest.
