Oh! That’s woeful.
I always liked him. His special personality made everything more vivid and colorful, from his posts up to role-play. Even spotting the character in Silvermoon felt like looking at a historical institution. He seemed like a sweet, messy and good-hearted person.
And now he has new skies to conquer. Farewell, Captain.
When I came to AD he was already there, true OG and real one. Didn’t see eye to eye with him on some things but will treasure the moments of RP I had with him now more than before
This really does break my heart, he taught me a lot as a beginner to Argen Dawn regarding Thalassian roleplay - and introduced me to the core foundations of Dragonhawk RP, to the Ace Commander himself, “The Red Death” and though we had our differences, to an outstanding Guild Master and member of this community who’s memory will linger on and burn.
Really sorry to hear about it, I didn’t personally know them very well but I knew they had health issues going on. Hadn’t heard much lately but then again I haven’t been around on the forums much since my sub expired. Very sad news.
Brigante was a wonderful soul who had touched many hearts that is clear, condolences to those that were close to him.
This has honestly depressed me and compounded by the fact I cant post on the general forums so I will here at least.
You’ll be absolutely missed Brigs. I remember long ago our guilds wanting to collab, and how you inspired my love of Flier roleplay. its always the things left undone that bring regrets. fly high sir. argent dawn was better for such a large personality as yours
I personally didn’t know Brigante or had the pleasure of encountering him, but I knew that he was empassioned about what he did and stood for in Roleplay, and for that he should be respected.
Rest in Peace, Brigante. May the Valkyries bring you home.
Never really liked him. Never liked his roleplay. Always thought his posts were silly, and mostly gibberish.
It’s strange how personal the news feel, in spite of that. Like something close to me was just endangered, like we’re all part of a whole. I suppose it compounds the aging gamer’s dread.
Rest in peace, Brigante. You were nothing if not honest.
No way…
I have fond memories of roleplaying with him in Mists of Pandaria, during the pre-WoD campaign and again in Legion. He was amazing at what he did. He always seemed so passionate about his character and his roleplay. It was admirable.
While I did not know him that well OOC, our exchanges were always positive. He came across as such a friendly guy with a great sense of humor.
Rest in peace, Brigante! You will be greatly missed.
I never interacted with Brigante directly, but I can say that he is certainly one of the most recognizable individuals of AD. And while some of his views I found very strange, in general he gave me an impression of a sensible gentleman who really, really liked to to talk (type). And from what I’ve heard, he clearly touched many lives in a positive way.
My condolences to his family and close ones. The server lost a long standing pillar.
