The way the story is heading, and judging by Blizzard saying they’ll be more direct with story over “shock value”, it’s clear that either one or both of them are ending up as final boss. I’m betting both, but which one first? Will Jailor be like Lich King of wotlk, and Sylvanas the Ruby Sanctum, extra raid, or will she be 2nd to last boss, or have the raid of her own?

Possible, but not as final boss. They said they aren’t doing any more of BFA “complicated story”, so the villain is obvious this time, it’s either Jailer or Sylvanas as last boss. Arbiter if somehow turned into boss, will be 2nd to last or before that, or side raid.
This was my guess long ago. Jailer final boss. Hopefully 8.3 and we dont get an all over the place story like bfa.
Slyvanus will play a minor part until 8.1 where she will start to pop up every now and again. Once 8.2 starts slyvanus will be in either the mega dungeon or the 2nd raid. We will fight her first in archer form, as she gets weaker she will get more desperate and fearful tappjng into more and more maw power and bansee form. Once defeated the jailer will show up and tell slyvanus their partner ship is over and take her soul away for good
I firmly believe the best thing to do for slyvanus is to return her to her fear of death aspect. So as she realises she is losing she geta more and more desperate and lashes out and super fearful that she will die. I also think 100٪ in karmidic justice she must be betrayed by the jailer and taken to the maw

That would actually be good storyline, he used her for his purpose, and now that purpose is gone, and she’s of no use anymore.

I never said he didnt suck. But when i think about elves in WoW the first image i get is Malfurion. Sylvanas i more undead than elf and she isnt even the first thing that i comes to mind when i think about them. Also Malfurion did manhandle your precious kween before Saurcuck intervened (or atleast on the Alliance side dont remember how i went on Horde).
If we are bringing in out of canon For the Horde/Alliance achievments i have coquered and held Orgrimar, Undercity, Thunderbluff and Silvermoon for days on several characters several times not a big deal tbh.
Pretty sure I saw Sylvanas losing hard to Malfurion, and he’s far from peak of his power anymore.
Sylvanas has always been a side character, she’s never been strong, and now they’re pushing her into that direction so that she can be a villain and a raid boss, it’s been building up for this. When Jailor goes, she’s got nothing left, this was the power she had, and neither Horde nor Alliance would let her live, so it’s sensible she dies before Jailor.
Vol’jin was good warchief material, but I guess they went 2 expansions ahead with story and planned for this, so they needed to build Sylvanas up, just to knock her down, and Vol’jin unfortunately was thrown away.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jaina die, but pretty unlikely as it doesn’t serve a purpose at the moment. They only throw away big characters when it makes sense, Sylvanas dying currently makes sense, so that’s likely to happen. Jaina dying wouldn’t do anything for story in Shadowlands.

Yeah for the world of peacecraft alliance struggles each time they get rekt. Other than that i can see them pretty much supporting their crimes and how good they are because they did this and that. At least log in your alliance main because youre by far not convincing .

“Then and now”, this power Sylvnaas has relies on Jailor, who, when dies, is gone, and all souls from Maw will be freed so anima will be gone and Maw will be weak again. There’s no universe in which Sylvanas stays powerful, and less likely even alive.
They’re going simple this time, there’s a big baddie, goal is to bring him down, and to free souls from maw.
I see most likely scenario being Tyrande and Sylvanas die together, so it seals night warrior thing.
I wouldnt be surprised either, I was just very confused why he thought Jaina was totally killable while apparently slyvanus one of the most hated characters right now is not
She was even more powerful before that.
