Excuse me for not wanting to play a green ugly little sprite. Humans are by far the most diverse race, and Long Beards is a customization they have always needed.

It really is no big deal, aye. But it just can’t even come to their minds as a possiblity, while at the same time the Hearthstone team drew a majestic Antonidas with his long beard for Hearthstone: Mercenaries. 
Which is funny because a drawing of Antonidas would take more effort than stretching existing beards or copy-pasting dwarven beards.
