They shouldn’t have ever taken it away. So annoying trying to match pets with transmog before.

Nice.

Now we just need pet abilities to be usable with Lone Wolf for those of us who really enjoy the fantasy of a bow/gun user but who also hate pet classes.

They are reworking MM, something about no longer using pets at all.

Lone Wolf is gone in patch 11.1, mm is getting lust baseline

  • New Ability: Harrier’s Cry – Your Eagle descends from the skies with a screech, giving the signal to attack. Increases Haste by 30% for all party and raid members for 40 seconds. Allies receiving this effect will become Sated and unable to benefit from Harrier’s Cry or similar effects again for 10 minutes. Learned at level 48.
  • New Passive: Eyes in the Sky – Gain the aid of a Spotting Eagle. Damaging an enemy with an ability empowered by Precise Shots has a 30% chance to cause your Spotting Eagle to mark your target. Enemies marked by your Spotting Eagle take 10% increased damage from your Aimed Shot. Replaces Call Pet and all associated Pet abilities. Learned at level 13

Is a nice change!!!

Woooo

Bye undead raptor, hello cloud serpent

Yes but the thing is, Master’s Call and Roar of Sacrifice are too good.

What about Master’s Call and Roar of Sacrifice?

  • New Talent: Cunning – Your Spotting Eagle gains the Cunning specialization, granting you Master’s Call and Pathfinding. Choice node with Tenacious.
  • Roar of Sacrifice has been updated for Marksmanship Hunters only – Instructs your pet to protect a friendly target from critical strikes, making attacks against that target unable to be critical strikes. Lasts 12 seconds. While Roar of Sacrifice is active, your Spotting Eagle cannot apply Spotter’s Mark.

Youll get both lust and Masters Call

Should both work.

Very nice. Good stuff.

Now I want the same thing for Survival.

I dont agree. Marksman follows the sniper ideology, it makes sense they dont have a pet.
Survival is all about fighting enemies together with your close companion and being in harmony with it, where BM is the master of pets that commands a whole arsenal of them.

Survival is actually getting more pets with the rework of Pack Leader.

Yes. That’s lame. That’s already BM’s fantasy and identity.

I want Survival to be about throwing harpoons, bombs and caltrops at people.

To each their own, i dont think you will get that any time soon though.

You know what they say: the key to getting what you want in life is to whine about it often enough that someone of importance eventually does something about it.

As a related thing to being able to use all our wonderful appearances again(And don’t mistake me, changing pet spec is an awesome return)… Please, please Blizzard let all our abilities call /our/ pets.

MM gets Generic Eagle No.39 , BM tends to summon random pets from the zone, whilst Pack Leader is getting ‘Your boar/bear/wyvern’ whether we have those or not, and I doubt very much even if we DO, it won’t use those. (Call of the Wild I think is the only current ability that actually uses our Stable for it’s selection? )

How’s about ‘Your chosen(placed in Call Pet 3-5, or additional special slots) cunning/tenacity/ferocity pet’ for the ability instead?

Our chosen pets are as much part of our character as talent choice, transmog, and weapon preference.

Hunters eating well in patch

hopefully they can fix the Camo to be a real stealth

When I can use Ferocity all time! Also keep Primal Rage in raid/dungeon

You mean hunter’s camouflage as like rogue’s stealth? Less cooldown? Yeah I wished

As in it actually stealths you. Currently its a pseudo stealth and non true sight enemies can spot you if close
