Finally tried Forge of Souls HC

Maybe but I genuinely think people just don’t know about the buffs, even having done the dungeons many times. I’ve seen it in game, having to tell people that there is a buff and imo the guy didn’t know these buffs existed and is going to pretend he did, to save face.

I always kill the mirrors asap and then pop cooldown once I’m at 30%, keep it refreshed as much as possible. It works so well to pump the damage higher.

Just buff clutter that everybody gets even if only 1 person bothers to clear mirrors.

So it’s not rewarding because it buffs the whole group? Sorry but I’m not buying this one.

They’re not supposed to be hard to begin with. Let raids be the hard content.

It’s ok to disagree but I think your maybe skipping the point of why it is not fun, if you ignore the mirror image and keep pumping the normal mobs, you’ll look better on the meters than someone who kills mirror images and you’ll receive the benefit of killing them as long as someone else does.

Or you’ll get flamed for not killing images, maybe even cause a wipe if the group isn’t geared enough to brute force killing them slowly. Everyone killing images = dungeon is smoother and faster + everyone stacks the haste buff faster than one person can.

Everything you said is correct, yet people have those problems

In an ideal world maybe, but this is RDF and these mechanics are obviously not made with a random, uncoordinated party in mind. I’d rather just do FoS hc instead.

I actually did RDF Nexus yesterday to confirm for myself that it is as bad as I’ve been expecting since phase 1, and this is the conversation I came across:

tank: “kill images, please”
hunter: “no, I don’t want to, I killed them on last pack”

It made me laugh, because I imagined the hunter sounding like that stereotypical kid going “mooom, I don’t want to!”
