So, I have a question to everyone, how did you find your current arena partner/s, through a guild, WoW community, or something like that ?
Cause lord knows I will need help with finding somoene to queue with.

I’ve found mine via Battle net and communities. Pugging isn’t worth it in my opinion.
I joined a raiding guild about 4 years ago and met them there
What communities ?
Nice
Neverending loop:
That’s why I am asking for advice.
Found mine back in TBC or WotLK and I think I’ve found 1 or 2 during the forums in MoP and/or Legion.
Can agree that its rare to find someone through LFG because most ppl have this “1 loss and I’m out” mentality while they expect an easy carry without voice.
And general rule, everyone plays your class at 3k rating and knows everything better.
ye, i mean right now it is not a problem, as I am honor farming for gear, but when i am going to do 2s i will need a partner
People lost its value in WoW and become numbers, because blizzard greed, blizzard want that money from server transfers microtransactions and ruined the servers.
Example is Draenor: in past it was well balanced alliance : horde server, server was well populated on booth sides, it was closed system where people have value, you knowed people on server… then greed kick in, after blizzard introduced server transfer, rivers of people moved to horde side of draenor, inspired of stories about healtly and good server, in the end ruined the server, obliterated alliance on it and become exclusive horde server, example how best server in world went into bad direction.
PS. As long we have Xrealm features, server transfers, name changes, players wont care much about their reputation, and overall people will 0 tolerance to anything… and this is story how people become numbers in WoW, sad isnt it? Closed server system was much better (if keep balanced offcourse)
I think people just need to get off their high horse and stop leaving after 1 loss. I just thought about this yesterday.
I met a ret yesterday in LFG and we lost the first game against RM after like 20 seconds. most people I met in LFG would’ve left instantly with an insult thrown at me as a bonus.
we queued more and gained a total of +300 rating in that one session.
the very problem are the insane expectations that players have from others and the extremely little margin of error they allow others before ditching them.
so just give people a chance to actually prove themselves and you are bound to eventually find someone you can stick with.
having said that, the search times as a dps are horrible IMHO. I find myself sitting in LFG for 3v3 as ele so often for longer than an hour that I eventually just queue rsham 2v2
Not entierly surprising, considering that playing a healer right now in this meta is just not fun at all.
And sadly as a hunter I cannot switch to a healer even if I wish I could
Its very, very hard to pug as there are too many elitists. Like Khrylx said, if you dont play perfectly in the first game you get a “lol get gud” comment, and then people leave.
I just try play with real life friends, so we can be bad together, and have a laugh on discord.
Having the same problem… Can’t face pugging any more, I went from 1675 to 1500 in 3s in a couple of days from pugging from joining the only groups who would take a dps - NO VOICE groups.
How can you realistically expect to push 3s without coordinating CC with voice?
you don’t need voice until much higher rating.
voice is actually distracting for some players also
Even tho I like the flexibility of not having arena teams anymore and having only personal rating, I quite miss it aswell when you are investing time and effort with other players.
