i wonder is it me or it also happens to others for example first pull in neltharion lair i always go to 1 or 2fps when fire mages starts doing dmg and is there any fix to it?!
Generic non specific advice because you’ve given us nothing to go on.
- Don’t play on a potato lol!
- Update your graphics drivers
- Turn your settings down
- Blame Blizz for sucking and claim your grandma could program better.

Like Deja suggests maybe try playing with your settings to see if any of those can help.

If so, what update interval do you have it on? If it’s very low, you could try increasing the update interval.
I was suffering from micro stuttering every few seconds despite my fps sitting around 100+ otherwise, graphics setting on 7, when I started playing DF recently… didn’t have this problem prior to.
Everything was up to date, still happened without addons.
Setting WoW to run as HIGH PRIORITY, from the Task Manager, seemed to have fixed it.
If that is a fix then the problem lies in the other programs running on your rig (Bitcoinminer maybe?). Might also be an indicator for some malicious software doing stuff it is not supposed to do.
Do you use elvui on a below average pc setup? I had issues with that Addon killing my fps at heavy aoe before I switch to 5600x + 3060ti. I would ditch it If so.
Literally only happens with Dragonflight, my PC runs every other game perfectly fine…
The stuttering is a very common problem with DF, there’s even articles about trying to fix it.

Probs just old pc, same happened to me and the pc wasn’t even that bad. 3600x which is a decent CPU, Rest of pc was fine 32gb ram, 3070ti. And would get 144+ fps in any other modern game no probs. Was getting less then 50 fps in valdrak, raids was horrid with loads of spells going off would go well below 30 etc. And huge FPS drops in dungeons with big pulls too.
Upgraded to a 5800x3d and no more stutters or super low fps drops. 144+ fps in valdrak and raids, no stutters or anything just smooth gameplay all the time.

I play 2k 34 uw 7/10 limit 60 fps because i have only a 3060ti and 5600x.
Fps drops happen but not that much honestly. Depends what are your settings. If i put it 10/10 and no limit at fps ill have big drops but not from the settings i play
