my mage is a level 120 boost char and i am trying to farm fire mage secret artifact item like 10 hours and still didnt got it

I am not sure what you mean to be fair, it’s been 10 hours doing what? I have linked the guide to show what you need to do to unlock the hidden appearances :slight_smile:

i got one from nighthold once if i remembered correctly a few months ago.

i need to drop the stars design item for getting the secret artifact of fire mage its a drop from mobs in suramar but i am killing and killing these mobs like 10 hours i checked all the farm locations and still didnt get it is it about my mage because its 120 level boost char

Sorry was reading up to see if anybody else had encountered problems, but it seems recent posts say it drops okay. I can’t see why it would be anything to do with your character being a 120 level boost.

One of the later posts I read: “Just farmed this during BFA patch 8.3, as a level 120 easily dispatched the Nightborne Infiltrators in the area around 28,18 in the Lower Gardens at Moonguard Stronghold in Suramar. The mobs seem to continuously spawn so I never ran out of mobs to kill. Took me about 15 minutes”

People are also saying you can get it from Nighthold trash mobs. I think it’s like everything else Revyzard, some people are lucky with drops others have long farms before they get what they want :frowning:

Do you have the baseline fire artifact ?

I put all the info here yesterday for you

You will need to have the baseline artifact to have it drop for you .

Best 3 places are

Moonguard
CoS dungeon
NH raid although trash drops have been nerfed alot .

Because you are a boosted char you will not have done the questline to aquire the fire artifact (unless you have done so now ) so it would not drop for you as in theory you do not have the base one in bags/bank

I remember going thru Suramar to see how pretty it is on my previous boosted mage and killed a mog and got it. :laughing:

Had you done the questline for base skin though or not ? it would help claer some things up why the OP might not have theres yet.

Awh, I really don’t remember. It was back in BFA prepatch when I boosted that mage. I believe I had to artifact yeah.

i have completed my class hall i have base artifact now i am trying to complete suramar questline for nightborne maybe i will get it while im doing it

Just kill nightborne in the city area i got it in 5 minutes. Maybe you need to have the weapon equiped for it to drop hmm

I think you’re just having really poor luck there pal. I started this character on the day they launched prepatch and picked it up by chance two days ago while killing mobs in Suramar for the Mage Hall quests

Specifically this one:

I stayed around the gardens where you first start the Suramar quest chain and it dropped while I was killing the 50 nightborne
Can’t recall if I had Felo’melorn equipped or just in my bags with me, but I do know I only put it in the bank last night so it was definitely with me when I got the drop.

Had only completed the Suramar intro quests on this alt, can confirm there is no apparent reputation requirement for this to drop, and I was in Arcane spec.

I would just like to report that I received this item on 6/10/2020 farming in suramar city at location 57, 63 from Loyalist Sycophant.

I originally tried to farm this at moon guard stronghold but i’m assuming that that area was nerfed because a lot of the mobs don’t drop anything at all.

Maybe you’ll have better luck in these particular spots?
