Im new to mage and i want to know about when and how to use scorch as fire mage
Also which spec is easiest spec between mage specs
And which spec is most powerful for world content and pve?
You use scorch when the enemy is below 30% if you have searing touch talented, or when moving. Also during combustion you substitute fireball with scorch since its faster. Those are the only use cases for the spell that come to mind.
Frost is the easiest mage spec to play well. And honestly, it’s pretty hard to play frost badly. For PvE, I’d recommend fire or frost at the moment. Open world is whatever, all of the specs are fine for it. I’d probably go with frost on that though.
Not only is frost easier but it’s now much stronger than fire in pretty much anything outside of raid bosses.
Frost in all aspects.
Still prefer fire on tyran weeks, especially in dungeons like dos and mists
