Firemaw, and communication with your playerbase

Dear Blizzard.

Im a returning player to wow classic, and while ive been gone all of my wow-friends have moved to the Firemaw server. I wanted to return to the game earlier, but Firemaw has been locked due to overpopulation, which is understandble. So i have be patiently been waiting for it to open for transfers again before i return to the game.

When you announced that the server finally is open again i was really happy. So i re-sub and head into the game, excited to play with my friends once again. However, to much dissapointment, you had only opened the server for character creation, and not for transfers. But thats not the worst part, youve done it without being clear about this, or explaining why.

So, why is it still not open for transfers, and when will it be?

Look. I understand that it must be difficult to deal with all the hate you get at Blizzard. But know this, a lot of this hatred is anchored in frustration from players who get little to no information about why certain very impactul decisions are made. Minimizing or even avoiding a lot of this frustration and hatred could easily be done by just letting people know for how long or why we are waiting for something.

Increasing your communication with the players would go a long way.

You can try request a refund. I tried, however bevause I had logged in once, they would not refund me. If I had not logged in, they would have.

Blizzard is taking the crown for worst customer support of any company I can think of

Firemaw has an identity ok?

When Firemaw has 0 active players, then transfers will open.

Yeah, i know that is not gonna happen. I just wish that stuff like this wont happen again and again

Are you sure your friends are still on Firemaw? Because we had recently a mass migration to yet unlimited Earthshaker.

Transfers to Firemaw for Alliance wont open for a long time. There are already going to be queues when wotlk hits.

If You want answer from Blizz, You have to sub to US version, have a level 10 and create a forum thread on US forums.

EU is abandoned.

What a scam, I already have 2 subs, buying third one just to post 1 message is too much…

The solution would be to open the gate so it would be unplayable for the players who have been there for years? Entitled much?

How about you go FRESH or not play with your ‘friends’ since u didn’t play with them much anyway.

Are you stupid or something? If you didn’t notice we (95%+ of people here) complain a lot about it because WE ARE ALREADY PLAYING ON FIREMAW and can’t transfer OUR ALTS, do you understand?
It makes literally 0 sense, it’s not helping with the queue at all because we are playing on firemaw anyway
I have alts with full naxx gear, pvp titles and other removed stuff, why do I have to create a new one now and lose everything???
Not to mention allowing to create new characters will make queue a lot worse than transfers alone

Just transfer your Firemaw char to your alts?
It wont be open anytime before wotlk, and most likely not after either.

Why does it matter? I have been playing since the day 1 of classic on both Mograine and firemaw, 2x70 on each, I quit at the end of phase 2 and came back a few month ago to get zul’aman mount and get titles on classes I want to main in wrath(they are on mograine), I have a lot of friends/guildies who can help me to get mount and titles in a day but I already wasted 2 months by waiting for nothing, 0 responses here and obviously 0 responses from support, I just want to get stuff that will be removed in 9 days
