Me and a friend of mine is currently Leveling and getting ready for WOTLK.
We are playing horde on Firemaw, But we are always surrounded by Alliance players and no horde in sight, We fight them to death everytime but now we just want to level without constant interruption and 70’s killing us… I dont mind World pvp at all i infact enjoy it alot, but not beeing able to even quest… Yeah… I’ve checked a few pages regarding faction balance etc but every page says diffrent… I have heard there is a bigger majority of horde on Golemagg but not 100% sure. Is it worth transfering to Golemagg from Firemaw for a bigger horde community?
Could you please show me any of those pages other than ironforge . pro that everybody uses? I am genuinely curious if there is any contradicting information.
But to answer your question, yes, you and your friend should move to Golemagg as soon as you can while the option is available. In fact Golemagg is probably the best place to be as a Horde right now. Massive end game population of 10k+ characters, no limit on transfer/char creation and virtually no risk of queues at Wrath launch (the population would have to more than double before that was a serious risk). It’s literally the place to be, much like Earthshaker for Alliance. Yeah it’s monofaction, but every PvP server is now.
Thanks for the quick reply! Then indeed this is what we shall do. I dont quite remember exactly what pages as i just googled “Server Population tbc classic” and checked the top results. But here is one of them warcrafttavern .com
Yeah, that site is completely pointless. Ironforge . Pro is the only one that has any sort of accuracy. Warcrafttavern shows 245 alliance characters on Earthshaker, my medium size PvE guild alone has more.
hi I transferred to golemagg horde from Firemaw a few weeks ago. It’s basically exactly how Firemaw used to be before everyone left to Gehennas. It’s a good server!
edit: except there’s basically no Alliance. if you see 1 dont kill it.
Nothing to be feared of. Queues on populated realms are common on expansion or phase release. They will gradually decrease over the first 2 weeks until they finally disappear (and reapper with new phase )
