When you’re fishing actively, your “rotation” goes like this:
Cast Fishing
Wait for 1-22 seconds however long it takes
Click the fishing floater (and autoloot the fish)
Cast Fishing
Wait for 1-22 seconds however long it takes
Click the fishing floater (and autoloot the fish)
… etc.
So when you just fish and have fished for HOURS for rare fish and whatnot, this becomes a rotation for you
The issue is that when you fish something rare that is BOP, you have to CLICK a box saying its okay to loot this BOP item even though it will be soulbound… and you don’t react to that because you just instantly cast the fishing line again because the 99999 other times you cast and click, it just autoloots and there is no issues.
And the WORST part is… theres literally nobody else than you that is able to loot this item! So there is absolutely no reason for this “BOP check” to accept it… It makes no sense whatsoever.
I asked several other people around me while running around fishing, and they have all lost rare stuff due to this stupid feature that serves no purpose.
Can you please please please, remove the BOP check when fishing?
Im sure a lot of fishers would be very happy about it
And if thats too difficult for some reason, then maybe have the Fishing be uncastable until you have actively pressed “yes” or “no” to the BOP check that makes no sense.
Edit, I checked Leatrix that I already have and this addon have that feature. So get Leatrix Plus and you find the option under System - Disable loot warning.
Well thats nice, which one are you talking about?
I have read up on some of them but I hear people still missing out on some BOP catches, because the addon doesnt cover everything.
Obviously it would be nicer if Blizzard just fixed it, so you didnt need to download addons to fix their game for them
Not on topic, but I had a funny experience in STV today. It appears that the competition quest “resets” every now and then, and we had a second winner around a quarter of hour after the first winner. I myself “won” the tournament three times this afternoon. Spread the word!
Somebody said it was to give more people a chance of winning as populations is so much higher than back then. It means that not much more people in total wins - only more per server as far as I understood.
