So when I accept the Hallowfall Fishing Derby I get no quest buff. So maybe it was a visual bug I thought and tried to fish up one of the last fish I needed for the achievement; get no credit. So is there a way to still get the buff? Or do I have to wait another week, which would suck at the most.

I also did not receive the derby buff. Lvled up fishing in time for the fishing derby quest. Picked up the quest but no buff. Now I can’t complete the quest or progress the achievement.
