Fishing in SoD

Hey.
I have recently begun Fishing in SoD. Almost all my chars are maxed/semi-maxed and I find very little entertainment in most available activities, and I turned to Fishing, specifically in Stranglethorn Vale.
Two days ago, however, I noticed a drastic change. While before, the rate of each possible school (Firefin Snapper, Oily Blackmouth, Stonescale Eel and Floating Wreckage) was more or less the same, now the rate of spawns of Floating Wreckage seems to have dropped by over 90% (and this, sadly, is not an exxagerated number).
I am wondering if there is some bug going on, since I have looked everywhere online for any blue posts mentioned changes to Fishing in SoD, and found none. I have not found anything stating that there is a bug either, so I felt like asking here

PS: this is happening regardless of competition, since I mostly fish during night hours and often go over 1-2 hours without seeing anyone else in the area. Respawns will happen naturally, but it’s almost always one of the fish schools, and not Floating Wreckage (which, obviously, is the most gold-rewarding one of the four)

No known bugs or recent changes to this.

Do keep in mind that objectively and accurately assessing spawn/drop rates can be tricky, especially without a significant amount of data over a longer period of time.

Is there a way to know the avergae respawn timers for Fishing schools? I have read that they were decreased, but I have never been an expert in what comes to fishing and there does not seem to be any reliable information online on this.

Blizzard will not give that information out. I have seen anywhere from 30 seconds to an hour.
