Just a suggestion but what u peps think about an old style 2d fishing game that is part of the blizz app. So u can do your fishing on the go.
Ow no, I love fishing in the game. I prefer to leave as much of the game in the game. Thinking about a battle pet (pokemon-go-like) game on my phone, is already a no-no-no for me.
I donât really game on my phone and will never do that.
Ow, and think it is not good for my phone to put water in itâŚ
No and I mean that as in a massive no. Why because it gives them more incentive to milk us for more money and thatâs the thing with all mobile games they are a way to milk money off people. And most people where infuriated with the Diablo Eternal phone game reveal last year we do not need to put ideas into the heads of the money orientated goons from Activision.
Iâd like this. In game fishing is dull as heck. It either needs a rework or a way to do it via the companion app.
Fishing in game would still be thereâŚ
The WoW companion app is free. You can already use it for your war table missions.
I agree, FFXIV fishing can be hard at times, but it is fun and there is mechanics to catching fish, like weather, bait etc. Even legendary fish that require you to mooch two or more fish in specific conditions to catch. So something like that in WoW would be much more fun, and more rewarding.
would be botted like mad
No, i really like fishing in this game. Lets not cheapen it by putting it in a ffing app.
Did you miss the point where half the world is screaming bloody murder about putting PC games on phones ???
Talk about lousy ideaâs and lousy timing ⌠geez.
I know that itâs on my phone but there is a massive difference between managing your followers and missions to outright making mobile games. But there is a massive difference between that and an all out mobile game. And I do not want to see this game or any of the others going down the mobile route because it is a patent and clear cash grab by Activision.
I donât think the idea is bad, but I know I wouldnât use it⌠I like to fish in the game, and Iâm afraid my fun would be killed if I had spend my out-of-game-time fishing to the game
Imagine all the people using the bloody phone apps to play their game from a distance.
Now imagine a meetingroom with developers scratching behind the ears, wondering about the massive backlash they got when they announced the next installment of a favorite PC game for mobile phone.
Chairman : âWell, ladies and gentlemen. Can anyone explain about that massive backlash?â
Developer : âWe have no idea what happened there Mr. Chairman.â
Chairman : âBut surely you have userdata to indicate peoples preference?â
Developer : âYes, of course we do. And all that data indicated that mobile apps would be very much appreciated by our playerbaseâ
Chairman : âwut ???â ⌠âhow ???â
I donât understand why people are against this. Do you not have phones?
If it would be free and just purely extension to the pc game with no possibility to play without actually owning an account, having sub and characters who got fishing skill i would welcome mobile app fishing if it would work like this:
- You have to actually physically go next to water to be able to fish.
- Fishing would be done by swinging your phone same way than you are doing when you really do when fishing irl.
- You you watch your bobber on your mobile screen and pull up the phone when it âbitesâ or do throw fishing and reeling up the big catches.
- Different waters (lake, sea, river) would give different fishes depending your location just like in game. Fishing from fountains would grant you coins.
- You would catch midnight salmon only at night.
All this would be easily done just using phones motion detector and location tech/image tracking. Would be fun to pull out my phone here and there where i see water to see what i can catch and gain fish for my character. Could also add in some funny stuff like random crazy loot you can get from fishing at weird places or waters (yeah someone would try toilet for sure ).
If it was like that, I would download it
Will likely happen, since Blizzard reportedly reassigned their âbest programmersâ to work on mobile-apps and games.
Because you all know, we haz phones!
